My favorite podcast is definitely Last Podcast on the Left

99% Invisible has got to be my favorite! Roman Mars introduces different aspects of design we normally don't consider, and he approaches it with a splendid humor. I also love listening to the Nature Podcast and the Science Magazine Podcast. Both include a variety of new research presented in an approachable manner. I work in a field of science where I feel like I'm constantly bombarded with medical information, but I don't feel like I get to hear about novel research or about the environment that often. These two help to break up that feeling, without throwing too technical of information.

Citations Needed, Zone of the Unknown, Mysteries and Urban Legends, and American Hysteria are my favorites. I also really enjoy the Parcast podcasts Serial Killers, Supernatural with Ashley Flowers, Unexplained Mysteries, and Haunted Places.

I heavily recommend Citations Needed, it's really given me a lot of perspective on pervasive elements of our media and culture that don't even occur to me. Every episode they have at least one guest, and their guests are always really good as well. The first episode I started on actually was Episode 98: The Refined Psychopathy of the Economist.
