i was just given a list last night of podcasts i should listen to so this list may grow BUT right now it's just Find Us Alive (an scp podcast). I used to love king falls am but that was discontinued. aand i also used to love welcome to night vale but i lost track and there's just soooo many episodes... might pick it up from the beginning next year
The one podcast that I'll never miss is called "Know Your Enemy." It's a bunch of deep-dive investigations the various factions and figures of the political right in the US.
When I first started losing weight in 2020, I was pretty much mostly listening to podcasts to pass the time since I needed something to distract me while exercising. I kind of stopped listening to them in 2021, because I just started watching television shows at night instead while I was exercising instead.
But the ones I cycled through were mostly BBC audio Story ones and Lore mostly. Last one I think I remembered listening to on the BBC was Children of the Stone.
Lore is a pretty well known podcast but it's a non-fiction horror anthology podcast hosted by Aaron Mahkent. There's a amazon prime tv show that was made about it as well in 2019 was cancelled after the second season.
Currently re-listening to Dungeons & Daddies! It's a DnD podcast about four dads flung into the forgotten realms in a quest to rescue their lost sons. It's very funny. It makes me grin like a weirdo while walking down the street. :D
I don't know that it counts as a pod cast - but i really like Bailey Sarian's Murder show on Youtube
Been listening to a lot of Random Number Generator Horror Podcast No. 9, which is a lot of fun. Run by two of the folks from Welcome to Night Vale (with occasional guests), it tackles different horror films from across multiple styles by using a set of random generator dice. They give ratings on how approachable it is for horror averse fans, as well as just rating it on how much of a horror it truly is; it's nice because both of the hosts are on different ends of the spectrum, one being horror adverse, and the other absolutely loving horror. I'm a horror fan myself, but I find it helps to listen to things before seeing them (otherwise I sometimes wind up psyching myself out of watching it).
mbmbam for sure. and taz. alsways lighten my mood
I listen to The Viral Podcast weekly. It's raunchy... I also enjoy true-crime podcasts like Crime Weekly ( I noticed you mentioned them too!) or Mile Higher on occasion.
I listen to her too. A lot of people watch podcasts now, so I think that kind of counts! I like to play youtube on the phone while doing chores so I can partially watch them.
