If I could help here,I would love too,but I'm not computer illiterate either,not with the computer stuff you gals do here.Sorry =( I think it's a great idea to have an extra someone to help out here when you have emergencies,Like you moving or other things Real life throws at you etc. I too want to Thank You & ! Update on Nicky.Well he has a birth defect called Wolff-Parkinson-White (WPW) syndrome.The doctor said he should be fine,because he has had it all his life & lived with it.It can be fixed if they need to.But so far it's good news. I had a wonderful vacation The horses are so beautiful.Gentle Giants :D The tour was very nice =) I really enjoyed myself.We got to pet the Clydesdale Horse,they had foals we got to see.the property grounds & stalls are so clean it's amazing =) OH YEAH!!! we got free beer hahahaha Of course me or Nicky hardly drink alcohol at all.We ask for 1/2 cups so we didn't waste it.There were 2 kinds of beer we got to taste,but I forgot the names sorry.It was so cold & very good,Budweiser beers of course.They didn't have any of the dalmatian dogs on site they were out touring.

Bruce is doing alright. He will have another x-ray on Wednesday but don't expect much from it. About Dec. 20th he will have a CT scan. Hopefully by then the vertebrae will have healed up and he can quit wearing the brace.

Mary I hope and pray they get rid of the mold problem in those downstairs apartments. Just getting rid of the smell sounds as toxic as the mold doesn't sound like the solution. They need to spend the money to tear apart the walls and get rid of the mold not just the smell. A friend here has had to leave two apartments in the last year because of the mold. There should be regulations to make the landlords get rid of it but there doesn't seem to be any.

I'm happy that you and Nick weren't disappointed with the Clydesdales. They are wonderful and you were so lucky to see the young ones.

It's so good that nothing has to be done for Nick as far as the syndrome he has and he can live with it just as he always has. My son also has a swallowing problem. There is a ring that has grown around his esophagus and restricts it. He just has to eat small bites. The operation isn't advised because the ring will grow back. Sometimes it disappears on it's own. Since there has never been an anesthetic that works on him, he isn't a candidate for an operation anyway. I pray Nick's swallowing problem has heal up by itself and if not the doctor he goes to will know exactly what caused the problem and there is a simple solution.

We don't have the mold problem up here thank goodness.these apartments are pretty old also at least 44 years old or older.I think that's what they are doing they have to tear down the walls,spray the mold.Then put new walls up.I hope that's what their doing.Heaven only knows though.the walls are 1/2 way under ground.I would think the moisture would be there because there are underground.I'm not sure how they are going to stop the mold =( I'm feeling better here breathing wise,so I'm not sure it's bothering me.Hopefully not anyway.
I'm so sorry your son has a swallowing problem.I'll be praying for him.I can't imagine having to be cautious every time you eat,hoping it doesn't get stuck =( Thank You for your prayers,I hope it's something simple also.
We had a lot of fun.There was a horse outside in the coral.I wanted Nicky to to stand in front of him to get a picture.so Nicky is petting him.I got a few pictures.He turns around so I can get another picture & the horse whats to get Nicky's jacket.It was so funny.The horse even stuck his head between the pipes of the coral to get his jacket then Nicky moved.There's this big old horses head between the pipes.He looks at Nicky like hey where are you going,I want that jacket hahahaha They have poles instead of wood going around the coral.Looks like the plastic piping you would get to fix your main pipes in your home.You don't hear of anyone visiting the Clydesdale horses here.So it was a treat to go see them :D

so happy the mold isn't bothering your ability to breathe and the apartments downstairs are being repaired properly. Thank you for your prayers for Don, our son. He also has an allergy to milk and all products with milk of any kind in it but he doesn't make a big deal of it. He's always been a runner and athletic so has always eaten well. While they were here recently it wasn't mentioned and I didn't notice him having a hard time swallowing but I did notice he eats much slower. Just something else he has adapted to.

You should have had a video of Rick and the horse. That would have been so cute!!!!!

Had a couple of phone calls because of the time change, plus church will be changing the time it starts next week. So some confusion going on. The phone woke Bruce up so I have to go get the day started I guess. Have a great Sunday everyone!

I do remember Nicky asking the neighbors why they were moving,(this was about 3 neighbors ago now)They said the windows leaked.That what was causing the mold.Makes since their windows are almost even with the ground =( I don't have it my apartment thank goodness,but it is in the lower apartments.It's the chemicals needed to kill the mold that's so strong smelling,no one should really be in the building when they do it.I think it lasted for 3 days in the halls comes under our door.the first day was really bad.Me & Nicky went out shopping & opened the main doors to let the smell out,it did help some.My daughter could barely breathe or talk when they did that.She has allergies.Boy did that stuff set her allergies off really bad.It burned my throat,so I put like a scarf on my face to breathe.It did help some.They don't do this all the time or I would have to move also.

Mold is such a terrible thing to live with, Nikolai and I lived in a place when he was around 4 or 5 that made us both very sick and we had to leave and move in with a friend. It's really very dangerous. I'm SO glad you're moving to a brand new place Leonie!!! I don't understand how they are able to rent out places that are so unhealthy!!
.. Shirley I'm so glad you found out what had happened with the nurse, and now you have a new friend! I hope Bruce is feeling stronger and stronger every single day.... I had no idea your son Don has to deal with a swallowing problem as well! So sorry to hear that!

Spent part of the afternoon and evening at our daughters. She had a turkey dinner because her daughter and fiance were here for the weekend and that's what the young man wanted. We hadn't had turkey for our thanksgiving this year, so our son-in-law was very happy with it too. The fiance's parents are in Costa Rico. He and Kara will be going there for two and a half weeks starting Friday. She has to meet his parents before he gives her the ring and they are officially engaged. That's the custom there. Hope it goes well and they like her and she likes them. Don't know if they want a redhead in the family or not. We want him in ours though. He's a prize and I think they will be really good for each other. 😄

, our son phoned tonight so I asked him about his throat. He says it's only happening about twice a week now and he now knows when it starts to feel like it will be a problem and starts drinking lots of water when he eats. So he has it under control. So that's good. I look forward to seeing a picture of the baby blanket Terry!

the flat in live in now is old and is going to be demolished. They are doing nothing anymore with the mold, etc. Can't wait to be out of it next month.

I'm glad your son knows when the swallowing problem starts & can drink lots of water to get the food unstuck.Even though he has had it for a while,That's so scary to have that swallowing problem.

Because of the age I think that's a good idea.They even had to tell us there is lead paint under all the other paint here,of course they told us after We signed the lease.But that don't bother me.If I had kids it might have.

same here i lived here for 5 years and from of nowhere they saw mold, and other bad stuff and the building is so olf (60 years) they decided not to fix it up but to demolish. I got the bad end of the deal as mine is the last one to be done. And i had to wait until last april or i did not get any money (they bought me out). I needed that money as i don't have the money to move..

I'm so glad you got your buy out .It's sad you were the last to be bought out.I can understand about needing the money to move.It won't be to long now, just 3 weeks.Your going to have your nice new home & you will feel much better there =)
When I got mine I felt the same way.It would have taken me forever to get that achievement.

Good morning to all! Hope everyone has faired well since I was last on! :) After I moved up to GA, I had to get situated with a whole new set of doctors and a new insurance plan etc, which was no easy task!! Just getting a new primary took over 4 months and I could not see a new pain doc without 1st seeing a primary!! So, took 6 months to get 1 and put back on my pain meds and that was after he decided to tweak them, which I was afraid of, but what is so funny is that 7 months later I am back on what I was originally taking when I left FL!! :P

Now that I am back, I have since changed phones and my last 1 had pretty much everything bookmarked. I want to be prepared this year for Melodys Cottage but have too many items in inventory (15,000+)!! I have tried looking for QUICK STOCK and am having no luck!! Also, ALL my shops have ! after them and I noticed when I did try thru inventory to put something in 1 of my shops it would NOT! Am confused. Can anyone help me please?

Hey Everyone! Sorry I've been gone for a while. I haven't been using the computer as much as I used to. We bought our house at the end of last month, so I've been moving and unpacking and making the house a home! It's so awesome to own our place. It's a very different feeling! I've been decorating, and organizing and just have not used the computer much at all. I don't even use Facebook much anymore! (that's just crazy talk.) ^_^

I hope everyone is doing well. I also hope to catch up with everyone and find out what I've missed! If you have any concerns about the cult, please let me know? I should be around much more regularly now that the dust is settling and routine should start to kick in more for me.

the shops got changed from the old ones to new ones. Look on the page for a link that might allow you to move everything from your shop inventory to a new shop. If you are still confused, I'll look for a guide that might help.
