Weekend for me!

Well we aren't going to my grandma's house. Her husband broke his ankle this morning while out hunting. So we are going to stay here until morning. Everyone but my grandmother, me, my cousin Olivia and cousin Clayton because those two are under 21 are going to Charlestown races. It's only 14 miles away. I don't really want to so I'm good staying here. No one here but me and my parents like heat. It's soo cold in the house. They are crazy.

Happy belated Thanksgiving to all who celebrate it. I had a quiet one at home. I'm a vegetarian so we had lasagna. Lol

I did not do any black Friday shopping but I may do some cyber Monday shopping. Shopping online is more my thing.

I can't wait for the Luminaire festivities to start.

I got home a few hours ago. It's good to be home. But the visit at my grandmother's just went by so fast. It was nice to see everyone it had been a few years since i saw all of them that were there. Hopefully next time it won't be as long until we all see each other. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I rarely do black friday shopping. People are crazy on black friday. Online shopping is better for it.

It's sooo lovely to just ignore the rest of the world for a couple hours complete guilt-free. I'm not too hyped up about my birthday - I've been working on my birthdays since age 18 and it never even occurred to me to take the day off, plus there's always been school or university where I definitely can't take a day off. But the one thing I'm adamant about is that I get to spend my free time that day however I see fit. Best idea I've ever had. :)

And, since I'd technically need a special work permit to work from home and I can't come in to work because no one's going to be there, I suspect I'll get some rest then. :)

Everyone deserves a lazy weekend (at least once in a while).

No lazy sunday for me. Busy getting stuff together, etc.

The downside of every move (or vacation out of town, come to think of it)? Takes ages to get everything sorted out... hugs Does it help to remember that you'll be moving into a lovely new home after all the hard work?

Had a great trip home I left on the perfect day there wasn't a LOT of traffic at all! I was so happy about that! I will definitely take pictures of Rowan..Shirley, I love that.... "The CWF baby!!" That really would be so great if he was born on Mary's birthday! It could happen! :)
I'm working on 6 more baby blankets!! They are so fun and easy! I have the cutest materials! All the fabrics were 50-70% off so I couldn't pass that up. lol That is what I was doing yesterday and some Christmas shopping. I have to do it all before the 7th! Busy, busy, busy!!!

Hi all! Hope everyone had a good weekend. It is almost Monday once again but I am happy because this is the last week of classes and then I'll have over a month off until Spring semester starts. I definitely need the vacation!

It's supposed to snow here tonight and I'm hoping we get enough that classes are cancelled tomorrow morning. xD

This house is so hot, I could do with some cold air. My hubby can't do anything, so he's cold all the time. In the meantime, I'm moving all the time and roasting. 😄

, I'm glad I don't have that deadline. Whew, your going to be busy but knowing you, you have most of your presents made or bought already. I've only bought for two people so far and they're the easiest because they always give me a list. 😄 There is a big reward waiting for you though!!!!

Our pastor announced in church this morning that my granddaughter, Kara was engaged and also that my friend's great granddaughter was born. So after church we had fun being congratulated and talking about the two events. It's too bad Kara and her mom, Betsy wasn't in church so they could have been getting the attention though. Betsy is just getting over the flu and Kara is in Costa Rico with her fiance meeting some of his family. He grew up in Canada but his mom and dad are back there now. He also has family in Canada she's met. They've been very warm and welcoming to her. We love her fiance too so they will have lots of support from family when they need it. They are getting married in our little town in April. Her fiance's dad is a pastor and will be marrying them. That will be touching I'm sure. Our son speaks Spanish so he's agreed to translate. Just so he doesn't make some awkward mistake he's asked for the pastor to give him the ceremony written down ahead of time. The dad might not want to do that if he wants to speak from his heart though. We'll see.

Hope the move goes really smoothly . It won't be too much longer before you're in your new house.
