I think my mom and I are going up to my grandma's house on Friday and come back Monday to see if she needs help with anything. I'm not sure I'm ready to go another 6 hrs up the road after last week but it's up to my mom if she's feeling better. She got sick while at my grandmother's house. My uncle Lunda's wife was sick before they came to my grandmother's and so i think she shared her cold.

I just had a visit from the person who will rent my old home. He really likes it send wants to move in now haha. He also wants to take over my floor, lamps, etc. So good news and no more worries for me!

thank you for congratulating me on my granddaughter's engagement. She's very close to us and we talk often wherever she is living at the time. When she's home she stays with us. I've been through all her years of worrying about never finding the right guy and promised her so many times to be patient, he's out there and she will meet him in God's perfect timing. We're as happy as she is that she found that one man that is so right for her. (Big sigh of relief.) 😆 She makes life interesting and keeps us young.

Congrats on finding someone who'll move into your old flat and take over all the stuff you can't take with you properly anyways! I've heard that especially the latter part can sometimes be a bit tricky, so I'm glad it worked out for you! :) You're getting the keys today and starting to move in, right?

Sounds like that lovely grandparent-grandkid bond everyone (at least secretly/ unknowingly) wants is working its magic with you and your granddaughter. :) I think other people are sometimes too judgemental (or pushy) when young people take time to find a partner. So it must have been greatly reassuring for her that you supported her.

I got the keys!!!! Started cleaning, cleaning the walls and a bit of painting. Home now and tired. Just had a shower to remove the dust and paint. Dinner now and later on birthday from my aunt.

Hope she has time to come here before she goes back to her apartment. She lives about about an hour and a half away. Want to see the ring. She sent a picture but can't really see it. Sounds fun! :) Love the idea of two parties (or one really lone one). So long as you guy don't mind me showing up late and only for the second one (7:30 pm is around 1:30 am over at my neck in the woods, Midnight is around 6 am), I'm in. :) The 17th is the first day of winter vacation and if I know anything about work, the 16th will be crazy busy but I'll try to get my butt out of bed early on Saturday anyways. :)

Right now, I'm thinking I'll be spending my vacation curled up permanently with a kettle of steaming hot tea, a towering stack of books and spending hours on end around Subeta. What I'll end up doing is probably getting in some revision and completing projects... ^^"

I bet it's a beautiful ring,even better then the one in the graphic picture I posted :D that would be nice if she has time to drop by so you could see the ring.Your right pictures just don't do the ring justice.Seeing it in person now that's the why to go :D My Husband had a great idea to put our wedding rings up so only we would know where they are.He told me where he put them.He hide them so good we can't fine them.I forgot where he said he put them.So they have been lost for a while now in a safe place hahahaha.He has looked & looked for them but no luck finding them.I won't wear any of my real diamonds I'm so scared I'll lose the stones.So they sit in the jewelry box.I only wear my wedding rings.Mine & Nicky's ring match, has 3 diamonds in the center.so if we ever find them I'll wear them again :D

You know, we could do an all day thing with a "Peak of festivities" instead of a Start time... That way, it runs all day for all our different time zones. I think I like this idea better.. so we will just say the party is all day on the 16th, with a "deadline to pop in and be considered for contests"? wouldnt that work better for you ? I know and are in a later time zone than us USA folks too... so this might work better for them, too.

I think if my mom doesn't feel better today she's gonna call her doctor to see if he can call her in some medicine. But now I've got a head cold and ugh i feel horrible. I hate head colds and I was already stuffy as it is so this doesn't help at all.

My mom and I were going to go on Friday but now that my mom still isn't feeling good I don't know when we will make it there. They are calling for snow next week where she lives and it's 6 hours away. My dad doesn't really want my mom and I to go by ourselves with the cold weather getting closer. But my aunt pat and uncle j came by yesterday and at least got our gifts for my grandma and buster (her husband) to give to them for us in case we can't make it there before Christmas.

Having it all day would be a good idea so no one misses out. A full day of festivities would be fun.

if I remember correctly (glad is to full and busy now) that is in the same timezone as me & . But a good idea of thinking about the timezones. The well party sounds cool. Will try and come.

First paint coat is on the walls. It's special one to get the moisture out of the walls. Needs 2 layers and I am hoping this weekend the color paint can go on the walls. Home now for dinner and relax time. Back to painting tomorrow.

I hope you run across your rings when you aren't even looking. Nick sure did do a good job of hiding them! 😄 My daughter recently misplaced her wedding rings. Last I knew she still hasn't found them. So sad! Mine need to be made smaller. I'm afraid they're going to slide off so don't wear them very much.

Our pastor is driving us to Bruce's appointment for a CT scan this morning, an hour drive on a mountainous highway with lots of big trucks. That's why I 'm not driving it. It's snowing and 32 degrees. I'm so grateful for a driver to take over for us!
