Ellington did 379,801 total damage!
far enough for the book, works for me.

Congrats everyone! I got the mummified food. I'm not a great battler. I was surprised I got any damage in though, so yay! :)

I dont think Ive spent that much on one item, unless it was towards a CW, or some other thing you usually buy with CSC. Maybe 1mil if its something I REALLY want, otherwise it goes on my WL for later reasons

lol no problem. I was on my ipad for the one comment and it doesn't ping or quote anybody. It must hate forum threads!
Ahh well that was cool of them to do that. I wasn't quite understanding how some got it, and others didn't? Guess I should've been fighting with all my pets instead of just my one. I forgot about that at the time of battling and probably could've gotten more prizes. :P
Okay, hi
I do not really understand that. Mondstaub did 105,594 total damage! I got 5 prices
so only the highest counted? Meaning, that if I hit the 2nd Guradian and dealt the most damage to him, he counted?
And will there be more? this still my first ever plot, so I am curious

- if you have a pet that fought more than one of the temple guardians, you are given prizes based on the damage done to whichever guardian you did the highest damage to, but not the total damage from all the guardians you fought. This is new for this plot and is what was announced before battling began about how battle prizes would be awarded. So, yes, if you hit the second guardian and did the most damage to it, then that is what counted.
If you fought with more than one pet, then each pet was treated the same - they got the damage done to one guardian, whoever that pet did the most to, but only to a single guardian.
We are now done with the battle prizes, but are still expecting plot prizes for all the other plot activities - the trail and puzzles. Hope that is helpful.
Congratulations to all the battlers from Team Steele - you all worked hard and I hope most of you were happy with the results.
yes, that helps. I am sometimes a bit confused and do not get everything from the news.
I am happy - 5 prices seem nice! I am not one of the top battlers, but then, that's okay. MOndstaub was only T6

- battle prizes are confusing. The system is currently being changed, so it may not be exactly the same next time. Usually there are two sets of prizes. The top of tier prizes are awarded for each tier, so your Tier 6 pet is only in competition with other Tier 6 pets for that. For this battle, the weapon prizes were awarded to the pets that did the top 10 (we think) damage amounts in each tier.
It can get harder at higher tiers to be one of the top in that tier. Mostly because these pets can take advantage of more expensive scrolls and weapons to do more damage each time they fight. This is especially true if someone already owns those scrolls or weapons because they do lots of battling or also have an even higher tier pet that they bought them for.
The other prizes were awarded just based on the amount of damage done. For example, [item2=Tetl] was awarded to every pet that did at least 5000 damage. For those, obviously, the higher level your pet (and the better it's weapons and scrolls) the more damage you will do. Also fighting more times will result in more damage.
For your first boss battle, you did a great job with Mondstaub and I'm really glad that you are pleased with your prizes. Congratulations.
That's a super comprehensive description of the battling structure this time.
Very helpful. :)
Yay, non-battler buddy! There are some really great scores for the battle folks in the Team, very proud of them.
I wish the shop had a different format, even if they did like Alegarten and had higher priced stock that rotated. So hard to get stuff.
At least that makes a bit of a dent in the number of things we need. I will try again myself in a bit.
Hey ... Do we get plot prizes for participation in the plot along with the battle prizes?

You do indeed! There will be a prize shop and you will be awarded points for participation. You may spend your points on whichever prizes you want c: Similar to the faded memories plot
It will come out hopefully today judging by staff suggestions
That was a very good explanation for non-accustomed battlers as to how the boss prizes worked. Much more detailed then the one I was going to offer!
Jumps excitedly New wearables here I come! Thanks hon.

No problem c: Hope the wearables are to your liking! I'm hoping for some more books for Bruggy B)
Books and stickers are good too. I don't collect plushies or beanbags or minions.

Yeah, the rest of the prizes will hopefully be coming today. I heard there were going to be a lot of them, so that could be why it's taking longer.
I guess they put out the battle prizes to tide us over a bit.
I just hope I earned enough points. I tried to do as much as I could. Hard when you're taking care of a household of ten and right in the middle my oldest daughter had her baby. It's always hectic here.

- thank you. I'm glad it turned out to be useful.
- congratulations on your new grandchild. How exciting.
Thanks hon. She's a cutie with a set of lungs on her that could strip paint off the walls. LOL!
