I also read through the many ideas...I am seeing a lot I like, and a lot of common ground (like we are on the same page...but still tweaking) So...

In light of still being unsure if we need more color I made an HA encompassing the gold, black and a blue/teal coloring for consideration.

*edit the blue/teal can be a representation of the water that surrounds the almirajs home and the coast of Aberdeen

(grumpy sidenote, I would change the hair color...but mines redeemed hair is glitching out in my wardrobe.)

no worries about the items at least on my part bc I saved the HA on shared so u can look up the items anytime ?

I think once we finally decided a color scheme, can be three colors, we can actually make official suggestions. Everyone have given fine HA examples, I like.

I wouldn't like to go too dark in colors and give some brightness and life to our HA. Mixing dark colors with bright ones seem to look nicer imo. But what the majority votes for wins! ?

I like that as well, it is nice to have some more colors showing :)

I agree with wanting a wee bit more color to help it pop...which is why I added the blue/teal with it...I think it helps.

Yes all black and grey it's too depressing. I actually liked the black or charcoal, yellow, blue combination. But maybe we should try a few more different styles before voting on a color scheme? We should try doing a bit of the plaid idea to see how it looks? I will try tomorrow, now I'm off to ?

First, Im sorry if this comes off pissy, I dont do so well in groups. Second, I think that before we keep running off half-cocked making even more avatars that we should stop and decide on the colors. I honestly only started making avatars because I thought we had. So Im going to make up a simple color chart and vote on what you want. I honestly dont think pattern matters at this point until we can agree on a color scheme.

The things that have been agreed upon is:

Mascot: Horned rabbit known as Almiraj Place: Aberdeen, Scotland

Keynote colors based on animals and place:

Gray: for granite (Aberdeen is nicknamed the granite city) Silver: On the Aberdeen flag Red: On the Aberdeen flag Yellow/Gold: the typical color of Almiraj fur, and the city is known for its golden beaches Black: the typical color of the Almiraj horn.

Color Options: (not including any in between variations at the moment)

White Black Silver Gold Copper Red Yellow Blue Green Orange Purple

Id say we dont go more then a 3 color combo. but thats me. We can tally what colors people want first then move to the avatar creating.

I also believe that practicality of the uniform should be taken into account as well. For example the lengths of cloaks or the bellowing of sleeves could cause problems with being to long or wide.

I tossed out the idea of plaid because of the city being in Scotland, then it was suggested that perhaps more silver/gray would work because of one of the city's nickname. I don't think everyone agreed on the colors according to what I read that is why I said so. I still want to go with yellow, black or charcoal, (and if a third color blue). I liked those combinations better and I liked the avatars made with those colors.

I thought idea of having one item in common like the chest was the best idea on trying to make an uniform and letting us chose the rest of the items according to the colors to give personality to the character. And it is also the best way to keep the same length in the cloak. And since it was suggested to use this item I made this avi: to go with that idea. I only made a bunch of other HA bc of the people not liking the color scheme we first chose. I'm not trying to be a pain either just stating the facts and team work is always more challenging because obviously not everyone agrees and likes the same things.

So hopefully people will now vote on a color scheme, so I ask members to participate and vote so we can move on to making HAs and give names to our characters, :D Those that don't give an answer soon then should just accept whatever the rest of us decide.

We also have to consider we only have a week to finish so we have to decide ASAP bc then chosing avis will take time and we need 7 Human Avatars--3 chasers, 2 beaters, 1 keeper and 1 seeker

As colors I´d like red, black and silver. :)

I'm mostly for gray and yellow/gold. As a side colour, I'd settle for blue/teal like Fable already mentioned, symbolizing a representation of the water that surrounds the Almirajs home and the coast of Aberdeen. It also adds a nice subtle contrast to the main, more natural colours.

Gray for the city's nickname. Gold for the mascot. Blue from Scotland's flag and that bit about the water.

I appreciate you running the voting process. Thank you...I know yellow was tossed up on the first page and it seemed agreed upon, but I knew we wanted to wait and see if other people were going to join the group. I honestly just got frustrated and a bit stressed because I felt we were not getting to a decision and the "clock" was running down. So thank you...and Im sorry if I came off as a..you know what.

My colors that I am for:

Black/Charcoal Yellow/Gold Blue (dark or light would be fine :) ) and Purple (has no reason being there just my favorite XD)

I think on matching item. I agree and it would be awesome if we could maybe find something with an x? like on the flag of scotland or gold maybe?

I also thought do we want to try and assign positions? so we dont end up with 7 seekers 1 keeper type thing?

For the X thing, off the top of my head, I can't think of any chestwears with an X. But maybe over the goffic jacket? :o Or .

And then there's also the if the x doesn't have to be represented on the chest itself.

those are all great ideas!! I thought of the gloves...as they are cool :D I wasnt sure what vests and chest x's there were :D

& you can spot a beater with a baseball bat or something, but you could nod to the seeker with [item2=golden cap wing earring] and I guess a red ball for the chasers & it sounds silly, but you could do a hula hoop for the keeper...? >.> I'm probably overthinking it, but just throwing some ideas around n.n;
