Oh I'm sorry!! Not everyone thinks rats are as cute as I do, unfortunately!! I definitely understand, though. I didn't use to like them. When I was younger, my family was very poor and lived in a really old house in a really bad part of town and we had rats and I was always so scared of them :c Thank you so much for the gifts, though!! It was very kind <3
Haha I wish I could! But she's back up in her place so I couldn't steal her if I tried. (and yes, it's Target) Thank you so, so much!
Oh, uh...I just reread the rules and...ignore my post. :(
I don't know if it's much but when I was working at an electronics I had this woman come in a new teacher she seemed unsure on what to get her kids for the class she needed headsets for them so I picked out the sturdy ones that were more expensive she said she couldn't afford it so I told her not to worry and when my manager was not around I sold her them all at the best discount 30% off and I even took money off of the warranty so the first year she has unlimited replacements and 2 the year after, she didn't know how to thank me I told her it was no issue. My co-worker warned me but I told them "Only you saw it, so it's up to you what you do with the information on what I just did." I never got in trouble thankfully and even though I'm not there anymore it makes me happy to know this teacher is making all her young little students happy and she doesn't have to worry about spending more money on replacements <3 n__n
My happy memory is when I adopted my cat. I was at my Aunt's house for a wedding, and she had a ton of kittens all over the place because the stray she had adopted turned out to be pregnant. I went outside to play with the kittens, and all of them ran from me except for one, who ran right up to me. My cousin told me that that one wasn't one of their cats' kittens, they had found him standing alone up the road from his work and he had brought him home. He wouldn't come in the house, and ran from everyone, but hung around the yard near the other kittens and would eat the food they left out. He was amazed that the kitten walked right up to me. I asked if I could have him, and my aunt said yes, so I took him home with me! He was so tiny when we got him, but he grew up to be really big! The vet said he is a Maine Coon Bombay mix, and he is at a perfect weight for him. Here he is when we first got him
and here is him now

For me, in July, happiness is the Tour de France and this year is no different. I love everything about this event, the incredible bike racing, the teams and riders who come from all over the world, the experienced, knowledgeable and fun to listen to announcers, the fabulous scenery, the history lessons, seeing the fans, the creativity of the local displays, and the fields full of sunflowers. This year, the first two stages both had amazing winners. Two popular and accomplished riders who each managed to earn the famed Maillot Jaune (the yellow leader's jersey) for the first time in their career. Watching them achieve their lifetime dreams was wonderful. And there is so much more to come before ending in Paris.
I saw you mention that you like big dogs, so I'd like to share one of my favorite family memories. Several family members have really big dogs. In this case, my brother's Irish Wolfhound, Zuke, was playing with a neighbor's much smaller dog and wound up in the backyard pool. While he had no problem swimming, Zuke got a bit frightened and wound up at the deep end trying to get out. Even with his height, he couldn't quite manage it on his own. My brother couldn't convince him to turn around and swim to the shallow end where he could have easily climbed out via the stairs. For awhile, my brother thought he would have to get in the pool with his dog, but they did eventually manage to help him out. The story was told to all of our extended family, including a cousin with a Newfoundland named Alfred. Of course, Newfies were originally bred for water rescue in the cold North Sea. My cousin sent a postcard addressed from Alfred to Zuke saying that Alfred had heard about the recent pool adventure and would be happy to give Zuke swimming lessons. This story happened many years ago, but I still remember laughing in delight when my cousin phoned to tell me about that postcard and it still makes me smile every time I think about it.
I live near Los Angeles, so you have all the pollution to thank for the colors, lol. And thanks! I thought my WL was a mess, since it's got things that need to be sorted into even smaller categories. My problem is that I pretty much want one of everything, but I also want my WL pages to load xD
Here's a picture of my little brother when he was a baby:

I am so jealous that you guys had things like this in college! That looks like so much fun, and I'm glad that you got to make such amazing memories :) And I personally found that even though I'm absolute shit at staying in touch, I still talk to so many friends from Uni, even now that I'm in my 30's. The really good bonds will last long after graudation!

No fair posting videos - you have to post original content! Feel free to post again, but it has to be a video or photo or story that's completely original :)

Thank you so much for sharing your story - and congratulations on the huge progress you've made!!! I'm glad you recognize how far you come - sometimes people only focus on how far they still have to go and can't see that their hard work as paid off. You have an inspiring attitude, and I have no doubt you'll be able to fulfill your dreams :)

That sounds like an amazing trip - and so cool that you got to be in a music video! It makes me happy that you guys gave your leftover food to the homeless - I've always wanted to do that but felt too awkward about embarrassing them or having someone tell me they don't want my leftovers :S
