Oh man. Let's get PERSONAL. I've been really proud about this lately.

Okay so, I've suffered from mental illness for the majority of my life; dropped out of school, in and out of hospital, on and off medicines. I stopped going to school around 12, started homeschooling, completely stopped doing school at 15, officially dropped out at 16. I've been through a ton of therapy, crying at 3am, parents who don't know what to do.

At 17!!! I got my GED. I was TERRIFIED and anxious. I wasn't sure I'd pass but I made a 100 on the reading comprehension portion. I went to college after, completed two classes. One I got a 95!!! It was really surprising? I've always had a TON of trouble with school (evidently :P). I had to stop going to school for awhile because of my grandpa dying but I'm ready to go back.

I want to go to cosmetology school and become a makeup artist. Then maybe go for fashion design. I'm looking to improve my life in whatever way possible. And I'm more mentally stable and able to do so! I've come a super long way and I've started to WANT to see the future! I really can't wait to start because I'm READY for once.

I'm 20 in two weeks, and I'm telling you things really DO get better. You just gotta wait out the storm. :3

I guess the thing right now that makes me the happiest is my kiddo. I love seeing him succeed and when he has good days at school. I love seeing him animated and telling me his crazy stories.

Most of all I love when he just says seemingly normal things that are just fantastic. Like not that long ago he was playing a game and said, "And here is the hairdresser, but let's be honest, I'm never going to change my hair anyway." And I don't know, that made me laugh so hard. He is such a wonderful, happy child as well as smart and creative. I couldn't have asked for a better kiddo ^.^

Last summer I drove from Arizona to West LA to be in a Coheed and Cambria music video.I got to meet the band as well as so many other people my age that are in love with Coheed as much as I am. This photo is one of five cherished photos from that day. We went out to eat after the shoot, and we had too much food, so we fed the homeless that were nearby before taking the long drive back home, where I got to see a few shooting stars, an owl, and some night wild life.

It's so nice of you to do this. Here is a picture of my puppy Chica attacking me (plus Lua the lab back there), it was the best day ever! She passed away earlier this year so I'll forever love the pictures of this day.

my cousin took in a small kitten after she found him on the road away from any civilization, so she took him in and asked us to nurse him until he could eat solid food! he was so cute and soft ;w;

A good memory of mine would have to be raising an orphaned cotton tail. My sister in law (who i'm not very fond of) let her children play with baby bunnies they found in their yard (NOT OKAY) most ran away and she kept one thinking she could give it to her kid as a pet (-_-) she brought it over and I convinced her to let me raise it since it still needed milk. I went right away to get the items I needed, spending a pretty penny. The first night was long because I worried about its health, but the days went on and she was finally off milk! I was able to introduce her to the food she would need to eat in the wild and she did great!

There were a few times though she got out of everything I put her in so I named her Houdini! lol I was making her cage over the few days I first got her and while I was at work I would put her in something tall, well..she managed to get her way out of everything! She was so sweet too, always loving to snuggle.

The day came were she was ready to go so I released her and off she went <3

This is Amber, my 7 year old chocolate lab! Isn't she just the cutest ^3^ I took this picture the other day after she drank a buttload of water and splashed it all over the floor, as you can see in the pic lol. Look at how proud she is of herself aha. She's a very loving sweetheart who is content just to be pet and snuggle all day - she has a habit of rubbing up against your legs or the furniture just like a cat! It's really cute except for when all her fur gets on your pants xD

It's really generous of you ^^ My story spanned the two years I was at college and since it took that long to build up I was completely carried away with the 'happy moment'. I had a crush on a guy two years ahead of me and I ... stalked him a little. During exam time we often worked in the library and I remember going there reaaal early in the morning so that I could sit at the computer just opposite his. Actually that was the first time I noticed him too and at that time I turned to my friend and whispered to her how he resembled Harry Potter (but he looked so much better than Radcliffe imo lol). I'm not sure whether he caught it because there was a little smile on his face, but he never took his eyes off his computer screen so I didn't know. I drew a little, so I sneakily took a picture of him during one of my breaks with my phone and drew a picture of him. In his last year at college, I placed the drawing on his desk at the library when he was out for lunch. I was so nervous I couldn't go to the library for days after that. Then on the last day of the term, just before the summer break started, I went to the library for the last time for that year, just for a chance to see him again before he graduated. He was there but left only after an hour and a half. But then when I came back after my lunch break I saw a note left on my desk just under the keyboard that said: 'To anonymous Ginny, Thanks for the drawing. Absolutely love it. I'll keep it as long as it lasts. P.S.: You've chosen some very excellent drawing material there. :) H.P.' I remember smiling like a loon for the next three of four days. I'm still smiling now as I thought or it again.

hmmm.... something funny? SO, there was this time I Was getting ready to sleep and I left a tiny drawer open and went to the bathroom. when I got to my room I turned off the lights and closed the drawer. when I was finally getting to sleep i noticed my cat wasn't anywhere to be found. I searched the whole room, opened my wardrobe, nothing! Then I remembered about the drawer... and I wouldn't believe it so I had to take a photo... Thank you so much for holding this giveaway! Happy memory, let's see.. I've had a few of those, but I think I'll talk about my cockatiel. A few days before Christmas in 2011 my parents took me to a pet store. They said they were picking up a bird that my aunt and uncle were going to be giving to my little cousin. When we got there they put her in a little carry-home box and I somehow ended up being the one carrying her home. When we got back my parents already had her cage set up for my niece. It was about 3 days before Christmas and that first night I remember just sitting on the couch watching her. I'd never seen a bird that close before and she really interested me. That weekend, the day before Christmas, we left the bird at our house while we went to my aunt and uncle's to celebrate their Christmas early. We had a good time and before we left my uncle mentioned something about picking up the bird early in the morning the next day. So, unfortunately this kept me awake. I woke up every hour on Christmas morning wondering where my uncle was to come get this bird. Imagine my surprise when I went into the living room and my parents finally told me that she was actually my bird! They said they wanted to see if I would like her first or not, which I'm a major animal lover so of course I loved her right away. Riza is now extremely fluffy and a spoiled rotten little bird and I am so glad that she's mine! Here are some pics of her.

My Wonderful Kitty

A few years ago my family and I got to go visit my extended family from half-way across the world! It had been a long time since we had seen them before that, and it was my little brother's first time seeing his grandparents and relatives that lived there. I had always lived a kind of isolated life before that, when we were younger my family and I had moved several times so I never got to form any close relations with anyone and was used to keeping to myself. We don't have any relatives near where we live either so it's just always been me and my parents, and younger brother. But going to meet with my extended family, it was like a party everyday! Everyone was so warm and welcoming, even though I hadn't seen them for years and could hardly remember anyone. It was as if I had been living there all along, even for quiet and awkward little me, I was able to fit right in. That happiness and warmth is something I'll always remember and keep with me.

thank you so much for doing this! Last week I just started volunteering at a pet store to help find abandoned bunnies a new home. It was the second time I've actually interacted with rabbits (I love them, they're just so cute). I'm learning how to care for a rabbit and how to get to know a rabbit. One of the friendlier ones climbed on me for the first time and it made me forget my problems for a bit! Here's a different rabbit from the 4 at the pet store, she/he's quite shy. ^^

My cats always make me smile!

Rocky is almost 17, but aside from him starting to go senile (he forgets he's been fed and will yowl by his food bowl) he's still a healthy, happy, asshole. He'll bite you to get you to pet him, bite you to get you to stop, and wake you up by meowing in your ear at 6 in the morning.

Moony is 23 pounds, lazy, and super friendly. He love you as long as you come to him because he doesn't want to walk. When he got too big to fit through the cat door, we put him on a diet, so now he lays by the woodpile to "hunt".

Sparky is older, we're not sure how old because she was stray we adopted. She's a sweetheart, loves people, and if you scratch the base of her tail, she'll lick compulsively at anything nearby; usually you, or the floor.

As for a good story, yesterday was a close friend's birthday; she's an orphan, and has lived with her mentally abusive aunt and uncle since she was really young. She's never had any birthday party with friends in her life, and so we threw her her first one at 23 years old. It was small, but she looked like she was about to cry when my parents brought out the few gifts we had gotten together for her, and as she was leaving she said it was the best birthday she's ever had. I'm so grateful to be in a position where I can do things to help her be happy; she's an amazing person and deserves all of it.
