A childhood friend of mine from high school and I used to draw the craziest things during class with me on everything, white boards, her folders, her pencil case, her erasers... XD And they would look like horrible monstrosities (they would have chest hair, lumps on their tails, etc..), but we would crack up and come up with back stories for all of them. XD Aghh, I swear I had a picture of one of them, but I can't seem to find it right now. TT_TT

One of them had an afro or something, and a really disturbingly creepy face, but with a bangin' body, so he was a model, and he had a crazy stalker fan that was equally bizarre looking (.. and infatuated with him. XD) ... I don't know what we were thinking XD But yeah, thinking back to times like this, or any weird shenanigans I used to pull makes me smile a lot. c: (....like how when I was around 10, I used to go on this now-closed-down virtual-fashion-doll-boutique (?) site with my friend and... make guy avatars... and... try to pick up the girls on the site XDD)

I really miss both these friends, but since I moved when I was a kid, and then with my high school friend, we separated for college, we don't talk to each other as much, but the good memories are still the best. c: <3

Okay, so something a tiny bit gross but a happy memory nonetheless. My current boyfriend and I started out as good friends. We hung out in groups, but we were always close. When he knew he liked me, he would ask me to hang out individually-of course I didn't think they were dates, but I suppose he thought they were. On our first "date" we hung out at a mall (originally right?) and decided to grab some pho. If you didn't know, it's a type of Vietnamese noodles, super delicious. Unforunately we ran into some friends while grabbing Pho. It was then I realized it was a date, and they laughed and invited us to sit with them. Let me tell you, worst experience waiting for my food to date, they were all curious, and assumed we were on a date. My boyfriend didn't know what to say, and I just realized I was on a date with one of my best friends. When the food game, I immediately dug in, hoping to ease some of the tension. What I forgot was the soup was steaming hot, basically boiling. I tried to swallow and hold it in, but only burned my tongue. It basically dribbled down my chin, as I tried to hold back tears. It did really break the tension, and I lost feeling/taste on parts of my tongue for two weeks aha. When I think back, we laugh but definitely embarrassing.

It's actually a pendant on a necklace: my best friend in high school got us BFF necklaces for my birthday one year. Mine was peanut butter, hers was jelly. We've grown apart since then (this photo was from 5 years ago), but I still have this necklace, and I always think of her when I wear it. ❤️

This is one I took a while ago that I absolutely love! This road was run over with lava on multiple occasions - they fixed it the first few times and eventually gave up cause it kept happening. Hilariously, the sign still stands surrounded by several layers of dried lava.

On Christmas day last year my hubby and i went out to breakfast at Denny's. We honestly didnt expect anything special to happen. There had been these 2 young ladies in the booth next to us. After they left, we finished eating and were ready for the check, to pay for our meal. The waiter came over and informed us that those ladies who were just there, paid for our meal!

We were in disbelief and a little saddened we couldn't thank them since they were already long gone.

My hubby and i sat for a bit, still amazed at how anyone could be so amazingly wonderful. We decided to pay it forward and asked the waiter to give us any check in the restaurant and we'll pay it.

I hope we made that person's Christmas a little brighter, whoever they were. Our Christmas sure was a lot brighter that day. ^_^

Okay so link~. I love the story behind this picture. I'm an extremely forgetful person, and that also includes eating. I was out of state at my boyfriend's house (it was long distance at first), and one of my good friends was talking to me. While talking to me they realized that I hadn't eaten yet and it was like 2 or 3pm. They like asked me the address of where I was, but told me they were going to help me find like, a local game store or something??? 10 minutes later he was just like "JK I bought you a pizza". This friend lives in Texas, and I was in Ohio. The pizza arrived moments later and my boyfriend thought it was the funniest thing.

So of course I had to pose amazingly with it. Also please note the laser eyes of Lyra, the dog, in the background rofl.

Those stories always give me the warm and fuzzies - I wish I could send the nice man a prize, lol! Thanks for sharing :)

I think my happy moment was when I found out I'm on track to being one of the first people on the Autism Spectrum to be graduating with a degree in Special Education from my group of classmates. I mean for some people its not as much of a big deal but it is for me because its the beauty in the satisfaction of knowing that I will be able to achieve my dream of being a teacher when others told me I would not have the capacity.

My husband makes me happiest. We've been together for 10 years, married for 5, and we still treasure each day with each other. I hear stories all the time about how "marriage is full of hard work and sacrifices," and it's just never felt that way for either of us. We've been best friends since before we started dating. Everything in our relationship feels so natural. Sure, sometimes we make compromises, but they never feel like "sacrifices." (Probably because those compromises are usually things like, "want to watch Simpsons or Bob's Burgers first?" and when he says things like "You can say that your cat is cute and sweet but you can't say she's the SWEETEST and the CUTEST, because those titles belong to my cat.") And it certainly doesn't feel like work - we've both said time and time again that our relationship and our love is the easiest (and incidentally, happiest!) part of our lives. He is sweet, compassionate, intelligent, funny, hard-working, understanding, incredibly gorgeous, and generally as perfect as a man can get and I absolutely adore him.

ETA: Here is our first kiss as a married couple. After months of trying to plan a traditional wedding, he came up with the idea of getting married at a concert put on by two of my favorite bands (Rise Against and Bad Religion). So, we drove 8 hours to the concert, got everything around in just one weekend (clothes, fake flowers, officiant, marriage license), and here we are getting eloped as the doors open and everyone flooded into the concert hall. We told everyone when we got back, and everyone was excited for us! I still wear my "wedding hoodie" all the time - a Rise Against hoodie that we bought at the concert. :)

I too am really happy she's rehoming such a great senior cat. So many of these great kitties are overlooked for their age when they are such docile sweeties.

Tali I promise you, she's nothing more than a snuggle bug. Far from grumpy, she's one happy plump and spoiled kitty. Hehe

So, my happy memory is going to revolve around some cats! At some point in January of this year, I had my peak number of cats at an astonishing 16! Since then the number has gone down to a shocking 4 (they're all outside cats; we think something is getting them.) but I'd like to pay memorial to both living and past in this post! This is Khrushchev (link to the image, cause it's huge), and this was when he was still a kitten. I would scoop up the little ones and force a selfie with them but he seemed to want it! From this angle, it looks like he's taking it all by himself. Cute! he's not as cute now but i still love him 😝

The next cat was one of the original three we adopted: Ivan. We lost him around December of 2014 and he still remains cherished in my heart. So, one day, I was walking into my room (the first three cats were indoor/outdoor until we realized they were bringing in fleas) and what did I find just chilling? Ivan, helping himself to lunch, despite the clean and filled food bowl I had uptop of a wooden toy box. He was sort of skittish, I was quite shocked to find he didn't move when I walked in! I snapped a picture in haste and now it's one of my favorite images of him.

I debated posting the photo of hubby and I hugging to death at the airport the first time we met in person (he's from England, I'm a KY girl), 10 years ago, but then I realized that I didn't take the photo myself.
