The one problem that I was having is that the rainbow lorikeet has so many colors that it can be hard to tell where one color, like the yellow, ends and another begins, and what is shading at what isn't. I was using this picture of my pet lorikeet Disco as a color reference. Disco

Iunno, I think the colors might be fine now ? One thing I do to make sure each color has the shading where it should be, is to color it all in one color, and then copy + change the layers, and use layer masks to erase and fill in where the new color(s) will be. Figuring the shading on very colorful things is pretty hard !

Okay, thank you so much for your input. =) I actually had to do that for this overlay. I used the green as the solid color and shaded the whole thing that way first, then added the other color and shading layers over the top. All those colors do get tricky! I was just hoping that the shading was visible enough to everyone else, since I know where it is because I colored it. xD

I am not apart of the cwhelp crew but I have made an item similar and since then others who have made eyes similar to that have been getting denied. Cresenta also tried to submit an item similar though different and I think she had to add upper lashes to get it approved.

edit// I believe she had to change it completely and just made it reg top lashes and bottom lashes. Her original was 100 percent different to what it actually ended up

So even the changes you made, staff is getting quick to see what its really intended and denying it. These sorta things are hard to pass since staff is still refusing edit to the base for eyes/lips. I wish you good luck!

Oh man I remember that debacle. ;__;. this was mine:

The artist and myself made several changes like adding white blush all around top part of the eye, then making the white blush into a dark pink that covered the whole eyelid area but that still wasn't good enough and overall it got denied like 3 times before I gave up. Because of all the changes it was quickly turning into an item that I didn't even like anymore so I just asked my artist to make lashes for me instead. :(

Yea it was REALLY frustrating seeing how many others HAD made it onsite but mine wasn't allowed. :( Sadly I think until they allow base edits (as for some reason this style of lash is considered that), IF they allow base edits, such items will always be at a high risk of denial. ;__;

I've been thinking about this. I had thought to name a scarf I'm going to be releasing a (colored) bolt of fabric. There is both an original and custom wearable which ends with bolt of fabric, so should I come up with a new name?

Technically, as long as the name isn't EXACTLY the same, I don't think it'll be denied. However, it just might be confusing when people refer back to specific items ~ It's up to you :)

You could maybe try "____ fabric bolt" or "bolt of ____ fabric" or some other combination to get it more unique as well if you really want both those words in there!

Thanks for the ideas! I was thinking of trying to use bolt of material, but it just doesn't have the same ring. Bolt of (color) fabric is good though.
