Thank you very, very much for all your explanations and help!!! :D superhugs!
The Piggy was meant to be sitting, like a teddy bear o: I wanted to show that with the shading, but I think I'll have to redraw/replace the legs, right? o:
I'm currently using SAI o:
I like the ears' design you made! :D
Thank you very much for your help, once again!!! :D 💛
Oh okay! For that, the legs should be brought up in front of the bottom of the torso, rather than hanging below it then! Here are some on site examples: (Very old, but it's clear what the feet look like!) Let me know if that helps, or if you'd prefer a redline to assist C:
Oh okay! Thank you so much for the examples and help!!! :D hugs again!

What do you need help with --- Everything omg I have no clue what I'm doing /head in hands
Was there a denial --- Your custom clothing Pink Sugar Crescent Garter was denied for the following reason(s): • ITEM: Artwork does not match Subeta style, quality, or level of detail in general • ITEM: Flat artwork • ITEM: Item name does not accurately represent the item image • ITEM: Dithering and/or save quality issues • NOTE: The item is -extremely- dithery -- you can see all the dots on it. It really needs to be reworked to be site quality.
Optional Can we take a look at the PSD files --- yes - CI file + overlay file
Can we redline --- yes
everything is a mess please help i didn't think i'd get so many denial reasons lol
This is supposed to be like a wedding garter, right? What type of material is it supposed to be made of? (Fabric / stone / etc!) If you can answer these I can provide better help I think C:
thank you! it's intended to be gold; the metal kind :D
Visual Aid to the explanation!
Help # 1 and Help # 4 The first thing that I think would really help, it making the objects look more three dimensional! The sketch is something I came up with to make each piece look more 3D! This includes making the closer patterned disc overlap the center gem, and making the further patterned disc curve more at the bottom and show the perspective of the back of the disc! I've also included a reference from google that I found of a bunch of slightly curved circles in the hopes this may help you see lots of different angles of this shape C:
Help # 2 This is a mockup of extra shading on the center piece just to give you an idea of the level of shading you need to have on the item image to match standards! You should have your base, + 3 other colors. For me this is Base, Shade 1, Shade 2, and Highlighting! C:
Help # 3 A quick, possible fix to the patterning on the disc. I am not 100% sure what this is? Maybe it's lace? Maybe it's like, tarnish on the gold? I wasn't too sure, so I've just done this as a suggestion for now. C: All I did was thin the lines out by going around with an eraser where there were gaps and just widening them out! No need to reline with this technique, all you need to do is erase to make them thinner C: That'll give more room for the shading under or over to pop through! I would also maybe suggest using a different color besides solid black for the patterning. If it's supposed to be black, maybe darker grays and don't forget to shade the patterning too C:
Let me know if this helps, or if you have absolutely any more questions! If I don't answer right away I am probably sleeping but I'll answer in the morning! Also feel free to wait for extra advice if you would like a second opinion! C': Hope I helped!

What do you need help with --- Denial. Not sure how to fix it.
Was there a denial --- A custom clothing item you drew, Snow Globe of the Blushing Flamingos Gown, submitted by Miss Eventful, was denied for the following reason(s): • OVERLAY: Thick or heavy lineart • OVERLAY: Overlay perspective conflicts with the 3/4 angle of the avatar base
Optional
Can we take a look at the PSD files --- yes, here is the working size as well Click here for it Can we redline --- yes
Thank you so much in advance!
sorry for pinging and not being helpful at all, but i just wanted to say this overlay is quite lovely, and i cannot see thick or heavy lineart AT ALL :I that's a weird denial imo. i also dont see any wrong perspective there. if you trace a line dividing the HA's body, the outfit is centered correctly
good luck on this one, sorry i cannot help, simply because i do not agree/cannot see what staff is seeing :/
I think this might not be too bad of a fix? LINK TO VISUAL For the perspective, I believe that one side of the skirt needs to come in, and maybe some minor tweaking to where the breasts are / the beak shaped triangle part! As for the line issue, an easy way to fix this is to take a dark color and use it over the top of the lines to thin them out with a mask (as shown on the right side I have the line as it is, then the darker pink color I'm using just to show how I did it and finally with the mask on so it's clipped only onto the lines)
C:
thank you for the compliments and your opinion on it.:)
Yeah I think your right, it shouldnt be that big denial. I was made the skirt kinda stiff and positioned like that since its over the feathers. so I am sure that isnt helping any matters. I need to research if there are any dresses similar on subetalodge or real life as I made the dress from inside my mind.
Thank you for the feedback and the linework as well! <3
By chance can I see the item on the male base? I am wondering if that has anything to do with it, because I know the male base can twist the appearance of items sometimes around the bust line.
Yeah actually that might be it? The feathers on our left side are a little far out on the male because there isn't any breasts and it looks a bit odd.
If the feathers were stiff would it still work out even if its a male base? I looked at some photos of feather collars and they are pretty stiff. then again sometimes realistic stuff doesnt neccessary work on subeta wise. I did a redline, pulled the skirt little at a angle, reworked the top. I think the feathers under the skirt are okay. so do u think it looks better or is it still look off? thanks :)

newer lines:
What do you need help with --- the CI's lines, potential glowing advice.. The problem is (other then the lineart) if I make it glow it will make the lines brighter.. so will that keep getting it denied?
Was there a denial --- Your custom clothing Shining Star of Joy was denied for the following reason(s): • ITEM: Sharp and/or pixelated lineart • ITEM: Thin or weak lineart • ITEM: Colored lineart and/or lineart so thin it appears colored
Optional
Can we redline --- yes
Are you merging layers fully before resizing? (sometimes not doing this can make lines look pixelated or make the color stray around since it's resizing each layer differently) Also is the 'Newer Lines' your edit you're going to send in, or what has most recently been denied?
The newer lines one I made just now, the moving/glowing one was the one I submitted and that got denied. I tried fixing it by myself and that's how far I got (the newer lines one) But adding the glowing would bring back the lines being 'different colored' or gray.
And nope lol, I've never merged X'D (I will keep that in mind form now on) (I have grouped stuff into smart object and then rasterized it.. not sure how I ended up with that technique) I don't have the larger version anymore :(
Unfortunately it may be hard to get this item up to standards without the larger version. Personally I would redraw it if I had a denial like this, but I'm not sure how you work, so that may not be an option for you of course.
I do not think it's the glow that's making the lines look colored, because your wearable version has a glow too, so it should be acceptable with the glow in the item image. Maybe making it more apparent might even help? As well as making sure the item name includes something like "Glowing" or "Illuminated" etc, if it does not already.
The problem areas in my opinion are around the ears (the lines look a bit pixelated), the cheeks (lines look a little thin and colored) as well as the tail (also thin and colored).
