I'd like to point out that this is not a petition... nor does it really have much bearing on whether or not the bear hunt will stop... sadly.

I honestly wasn't entirely sure what weight it had initially. However, this is a HOT TOPIC where I am right now and I am sure this page has been frequented more than others as of late.

I do know that anyone that comes to this article will see the results and realize that there is actually a strong stance out there of people who DO NOT believe in going out and killing bears as the only solution. There are so many other smart, well thought out alternatives that have been proven to work in certain cities. I am still trying to find the articles pertaining to this info that I heard. When I do I will share!

It is a page made by the Bear expert, that actually knows things about them, and runs the Bear sanctuary in Ontario, that saved and is raising (to return to the wild) a great many of the cubs orphaned from the Bear Hunt last year.
