To collectors. Which a lot of users are. To be fair most people seem to be saying that multiples in galleries are most useful for sorting stuff. For TCs/trade shops for holiday items, that sort of stuff.

But well, I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on this point. And I guess if galleries were a separate system from shops and didn't get included in shop search etc. it wouldn't be a problem anyways, except when someone decides to move thousands of one item from one spot to another (which doesn't happen every day XD)

that's honestly what should be done in the first place - put galleries and shops on separate sections/codes/tables/scripts/whatever. Even now in the revamp they're still running on the same scripts or whatever and I don't understand the reasonings behind it. I just wish they'd be separated and a lot of this upset could so easily be avoided x_x

Since vaults aren't tied to the shops, why not have the hoarding achievements tied to our Vaults instead of user shops. I never understood why they were shop related anyway.

I use one of my shops for sorting purposes and would love to see the search/sorting features that are currently available in shops be available in vaults. Right now we can categorize our vaults but we can't search/sort within each category. For instance, if I want to search my Luminaire category for all the food items that I have more than one of, to stock in one of my shops, I am shit out of luck and have to search the category line by line, clicking each box. If I could fine tune the search, like in shops, I could choose the perimeters, click search and those items will be listed so that I can simply hit the "check all" button and move those items where I want them.

This will be a highly valuable tool for when all of our shops are limited and the majority of our items will be stored in the vault for sorting purposes.

they won't make any hoarding achievements in the future. they don't want to promote it, so they're just going to retire it.

I do agree, I wish searching and sorting through vaults was easier and more user friendly.

I LOVE the idea of the minion zoo as a way to stash minions (I would deal with only one of each). I really don't need the battling with minions aspect. but i do hope that if the zoo = collection it is just like the plushies- stickers - trading cards and foods "gone" !!!!

a collection is a collection - and i dont like the idea that you would be able to take minions back !!!

Skimmed the thread so I'm not sure if this was suggested, but I could get behind a minion gallery of sorts that allowed you to attach them to a pet while still having them displayed. So essentially, each user has their own zoo, and if one of those minions was attached to a pet, the minion would be a clickable link to that pet. For example, underneath the minion's image it would say "cared for by [pet's name]!" I wouldn't even mind if they couldn't be removed from the zoo, as long as you could switch them around freely and have different pets care for them as you please.

It'd also be cool if users could sort them into categories, like a zoo--so I could stick all my fish minions into a section called The Aquarium, my insects in The Garden, and so on.

- I don't think many people would use the zoo if we couldn't take the minions out if we wanted to. What most of us are asking for is the equivalent of a gallery or treasure chest just for minions.

Okay so... I am still really upset about this whole fiasco, but I've been thinking long and hard about how we can compromise on a lot of stuff.

First and foremost: Separate Galleries from shops. This should be one of the site's priorities, especially since it was promised to us. If there is a grand strain on the database as staff claims, then this SHOULD help. If we structure it like Pet's TCs (USER TCs XD) then we may see less strain on the site as a whole.

I would really like to see these current plans on limits taken away. I feel like it is not fair for Hoarders + Collectors to be "punished" in such a way after having so much freedom previously. Instead implement a system much like Pet TCs where you can purchase more slots for your Gallery or Shop. This will keep a limit on unique items, but it won't be fixed which a lot of people are worried about. The main thing will be you CAN purchase these allotments with sP, but you also have a CSC option that will give you a larger amount. 10 slots/ mil or 50 with 100 CSC. Or something similar. I do not feel that having a fixed amount is fair personally as it discourages people from enjoying certain aspects of the site. I feel this will also promote a healthier economy which, again, what a lot of people are very concerned about.

Furthermore you can introduce a new achievement called "Store Builder" or "Entrepreneur" or "Tycoon" (forgive me if there are achievements already like this)

Another idea is to give pets a choice for multiple TCs. I personally have a minion gallery directly linked to one of my pets (Rune Necia) and it is one of the main reasons I feel so unsettled by this new shop/gallery build. I have slowly been creating art, a story and a gallery for this character. She currently has potions and magical artifacts in her TC and as an artistically organized person I do not want to meld my TC with my minion gallery. It bothers me to no end you have no idea like I can't even omg I feel this would help people be more creative with their pets and give them a chance for more artistic freedom. Obviously this would not be a free feature. For every EXTRA TC you could charge 2000 CSC or something. With as much as people love their pets, I could easily see this as being something healthy for the site.

These are just a few of my ideas. So... okay... I am going back to the depths now.

those that want to keep the minions can put them in a pets treasure chest i guess, because that are mini-galleries too, to show items i mean , no ???? i do that with bones, skulls or other items i want to keep

but if its put under "a collection" and with "achievements" like some suggest, then i find ( personal opinion off course) that they must vanish,just like all the items in other collections

but i do like idea too !!!! you can attach it too a pet without taking it out off the zoo :):) very nice idea too

- If minions are turned into a collection like plushies and beanbags mine will go into treasure chests and a gallery. A collection isn't what most people want, though.

pitty i would love more collections so maybe its more wishful thinking of me ;):)

minions - potions - are things i would love to see in collections

plushies - stickers - beanbags and trading cards we already have

books and foods eaten we can see on pets profile all other stuff i put in treasure chests

and for my huugggge gallery - i think i have to wait until those ga users are ready witht the testing for new shops and galleries and then not sure what to do -- keep it in the old gallery so that i can see what i collected over the years or dump it into my vault and make categories over there ?????????? or put more in pet treasure chests ???? not sure yet - will decide later and time will tell i guess :) what is best for me ( i guess its for everybody different )

Would clearing accounts that are both frozen and inactive have a significantly positive impact on the site? I can see people coming back to an account that's only frozen or only inactive, but what about getting rid of the ones that fall into both categories?
