Still waiting to hear if ordinary accounts now have 4 shops/galleries. I made a bug report about it in problems and bugs just in case it is a bug. It's now disappearing down the page.
I still wished, they'd let us use our old galleries.
4 shops is only fair, because it's always been 4.
And they still haven't answered regarding extra bought shops. But reimbursement for (real) money spent in vain is something they obviously simply prefer to avoid grml
...but then I guess that a lot of our questions have not been answered yet, just as we still lack a complete official guide. The FAQ hasn't been updated in days, has it? Somehow it feels, as if this was another one of the rapidly abandoned half finished projects or bandaids :( . Do we even have an "official" thread for this? If "yes", which one is it?
I know exactly what you mean.
What happened to the promise that there was going to be better communication concerning important things that users need to know?
: You've been very patient. To summarize for the benefit of staff who have ignored her question:
On April 18, she asked a simple, straightforward question, but no staff member answered.
Twelve hours later, she posted this reminder.
Twenty-four hours later, she still had not received an answer, so she started a new thread for that question, in hopes it might get noticed.
She's posted daily, persistent reminders since then, but after four days, no staff member has given her an official answer, including , the staff member she tagged in the original question.
Last week, people excoriated me for using an third-party site to attract attention on here, saying that it was over-the-top and unnecessary. But this is an example of the kind of inattentive staff communication that led me offsite. Three different staff members answered me; won't one of you answer ciannwn?
And another day goes by without any answer to how many shops/galleries an ordinary account can have.
Well, they haven't changed it back so I guess we can assume it's permanent now.
Or maybe it hasn't been changed because the staff in charge of the new shops/galleries haven't been on to see the question.
I know it's not Amber's department but I'm guessing that she could have told us if she knew.
None of my questions/suggestions were answered or replied to either....staff has just gone suddenly silent in regards to the new shops/galleries....
(And that question regarding putting galleries on a SEPARATE SYSTEM still hasn't been answered - or at least, I haven't even seen one. Might have missed it)
This whole thing has really made me lose interest in Subeta. My inventory is packed right now, so I have to figure out where to put everything before I can go back to questing and stuff. If I shove it all into shops, I know I'm going to run out of space in a week or two. I can throw it into my vault, but my vault has always been used for things I want to keep long-term (TC stuff, rare event prizes, and other knick knacks). I could empty my vault into a gallery and dump my excess shop stuff into my vault, but then my vault becomes an ever-expanding black hole and my private vault stuff is now in a public gallery. Plus it's a ton of work.
Ugh. If I enjoyed organizing crap like this, I'd offer to clean out my mom's garage IRL instead of spending my free time on Subeta, you know?

I agree with pretty much everything just said.
To answer the question about how many shops a user can have - as of right now, non-GA users can have up to four shops and GA users can have up to six shops.
The item limit for non-GA users is 750 per shop. GA users can have 1000. Galleries are 2500 and 4000 (respectively). And then quick stock, as we know, is 100 and 250 (respectively).
I'll continue to read through the thread, but that seems to be the most asked question in the recent pages. And let me know of any questions - I am not familiar with the shop revamp, but I will do my best to review what I know and dig around for other answers. :)
I think people were confused because it was originally said that non-GA users would be able to have up to 3 shops. So everyone was just wondering if that was an oversight or a permanent decision to have it be 4 instead.
Thanks for addressing that though!
: Yes. Initially, the limit was three. It was changed to four on April 15th.
- Look! :D

Thank you for answering my question. I didn't want to make a second gallery in case I was abusing a glitch.
Ohhhh.k.
So the new shop system is officially live. S H O U L D N ' T the site be exceptionally fast now?
I was okay with the new limits but only because I was still being allowed to Autoprice my old shops. Now the option seems to be gone.
All I wanted was to clear out my old items without the effort of having to move them all to my new shop. There are 19 pages between my 2 old shops which will not all fit into one new shop and also the effort of moving everything. So now I'm annoyed. :(
I just hope that the whole new shops thing will speed up the site...
Moving items has been made very easy, to be fair. If you're autopricing daily though, you should start having room to move the rest soon!
yeah I noticed they did that too. I'm just really lazy lol. I'll start moving a few pages a day or something I guess.
just chiming in with my total dislike of this limit on shops. i'm now stuck with a good 200 items in my inventory bc i'm out of shops to make + i've capped all three (4th acts as a "second vault" for 200+ items for achievements, so can't just switch the two, no). meaning i can't really do anything that i normally do on subeta these days, when i'm up for it and have the time, like questing. this is awful. boo. what's even gonna become of vending? where to put 250/500 new items per day when no shop ever empties at that pace? smh.
