It was announced in the news, though quite a bit after I pinged the group, but it was finally put in the news. It did link to the GA forums which probably isn't a good idea because it is important for non-ga users to know.

Yes, and I'm saying that linking it to the GA forums (which we can only apparently see because of a bug, per anyways) was too late/not sufficient.

oh I didn't even know non-GAs can see the forum. that makes it better at least. but I agree, the information could probably be spread more efficiently. that's why I made my forum group though, so people find out important information if it fails to get pinged.

Am now waiting for the new shops to be released to everyone so I can collect the sP in my new shop tills. When I tried I was told GA users only.

I deliberately made two extra shops to see what happens when a GA runs out. I've now got two shops with items in them, a gallery with items in it and two more shops with nothing in them. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I'll still be able to add more items to the first two shops and the gallery with an ordinary account. It would be very awkward if programming arbitrarily decides which shops I can continue to use.

I didn't realise it was a glitch that we could see the GA forums. That does make it really annoying, since everyone has a right to know what's going on without having to ask GA friends to keep them updated or whatnot.

Yeah, I thought they had maybe made them read-only for non-GA users (given the nature of this beta test - short-term, not a new feature, etc - it would have made sense, imo) but apparently not. I do think that would be a nice thing going forward for tests like this.

I mind them keeping something like Minion Zoo (totally new feature) 'secret' much less... although given what's become of Minion Zoo, many of us might barely/never know about them, lol c:

The minion zoo was a total flop XD I had a long time GA when it came out and I used it like twice. It was like: I'm not really sure what to do with this, so I'm going to go ahead and ignore that it exits.

Yeah :/ There's no reason for us to post since we can't add anything helpful, not having access to the feature, but not knowing what's going on at all is irking.

I just hope that at some point my Shop will turn up in Shop Search. I have it stocked and priced for days now and it just refuses to show up. Haven't sold a single item with the new system yet while my old shop, despite having only a handful of items left in there, keeps getting frequented.

P.S.: Should there be some magical trick to make my Shop show up it would be great if someone could tell me, I just cannot check 40 forum topic pages right now. :c

Yeah, I was expecting a news post when it does happen. But then I thought it would be happening at midnight, so I was surprised when I came back this morning and no news.

Oh well, hopefully it gets out later. Although I'd rather wait and have them release it properly than have it go out too early and something breaks.

That last sentence 100%. I would expect they want a good portion of the team working on it when it comes out so it's more sensible to do it during 'office hours' for their time zone.

Yeah true, it would definitely make more sense to do it when they have at least a programmer or two on hand in case something goes awry. Hopefully it does come out later today though, I'm sure we're not the only ones waiting for it to be released finally.

When you search shops for an item the old shops show. If you read the blue paragraph at the top of the search page it says click 'here' for a combined search, 'here' being the link. Trouble is the item's name doesn't show so you would have had to remember to copy the item's name to paste into the search window. When someone is questing you just want to get on with it and get finished so very few are doing the multi step search. Once everything goes live and more and more people are using the new system I seriously hope the proper search will come back for us. I feel your frustration. I had my new shop autopriced with BQ prizes (which Maleria asks for) and not one single item sold, in several days. I moved everything back to my old shop and the items sold very quickly.

My GA ran out so I can't even get to my shop now. It's 8.30 PM in the UK so I won't be seeing the update today. Hope everything goes OK so the new shops are available to everyone tomorrow.

I'm wishing they decide an extra week of testing is needed so I have extra time to try to hit 45k. XD I am the problem. v_v

Is there a handy guide on how to transfer old shops to new shops? I'd like to get a head start on two of my galleries (and then probably do my shop after the 24th.) Thanks guys!

How do you mean transfer old shops to new shops? Do you mean shop till? Or stats? Or items?

She probably means all of the above. It's super unclear by just going to your shop. I'm confused as well.
