I did a classy Vegas wedding and I wouldn't change a thing! My wedding was a blast. Literally 9 min from music to kiss. All family invited but maybe 35 showed up so it was perfect.

OOooooh! Congratulations :D I remember how stressful wedding planning went, I just got married last Halloween XD Remember to take it one day at a time, try to save as much as you can and enlist as much help as possible if you can. Although we didn't have a super fancy wedding, it still was a ton of fun and everyone had a good time. Looking back at it, I would have changed certain things but overall I do not regret any of it. It is one big day but the start to the rest of your lives. If you need any help or atleast a shoulder to vent to, I'm always here for you :)

I'm doing all the planning myself. My Mum or Dad is chauffeuring me around since I can't drive (disgraceful at 28 I know but there were more important things to pay for!) but that's all they're doing. They helped us get our house by paying for the deposit so I'm not asking them to pay for anything to do with the wedding although my Mum is insisting on paying for some stuff.

I haven't forgotten about you guys nor did I decide I didn't like you anymore. That is not going to happen. Ever. ;-)

Life's just been busy at my end and I tend to turn into a bit of a recluse if that happens. ^^" So I'll be slow to reply and probably not very chatty for a while. I'll be back as soon as things quiet down a bit. :-)

Aww! That is so sweet of your friends! :) Also, nice of your parents to help with your house. I had to plan everything and that was stressful lol. Have you decided on a venue yet? Vegas sounds like a great wedding idea. We went with a small local garden club and their building for ours. It was cheap and gave us a lot of room to work with. Plus, the garden club (mostly older generations) were so kind to us in letting us have it cheap on a holiday.

We're having the ceremony and reception at a hotel. It's an old building so the architecture is nice and the grounds are beautiful! They are including a DJ and food so it means I have less to worry about. Money is the main issue as we have 9 months to pay for everything.

I have my dress, rings and lingerie ;) and bridesmaid dresses sorted. Shoes should be easy enough to match to my dress so they shouldn't be too expensive. My Mum is insisting on paying for the wedding favours and My Dad is already helping me with a fine I accumulated unfortunately so I am not going to let him pay for anything else.
