That's true, I wouldn't mind a good puzzle event/plot thing on here again. Even though I've been on here for almost 6 years, for the first half of that I was more focused on neo still so I missed out on some things.

yeah, they try and it's visible. they'll address us if we're upset. neo was just kinda like here's what happens accept it or gtfo

Yes, they at least communicate with us about things. Neo staff generally seemed pretty unapproachable, maybe not in the beginning but it became that way in the end.

I used to not be interested in battling because I thought it was all too confusing. Now that I understand how it works though, I actually like it. My pet's still not super strong though, so I can't always beat all of the opponents, but I do what I can ~

The Saheric plot was really the only puzzle-based event I've been on here for. Definitely a lot of fun, but I wish they didn't have achievements for the first 150 people. I understand the desire for stuff like that, but I hated feeling super rushed. I would love some logic-based puzzle steps as well as the more normal puzzle steps. When my bf was prepping for the LSAT, I would flip to the games sections during his break and go to town trying to figure out the problems (basically logic/pattern puzzles). Some of them were really tricky, but I thought they were really fun.

Damn 5th? Way to go! That's awesome. I know and pretty well from my other forum group and they're always talking about battle stuff, which eventually got me more and more interested in it. My battle pet is only T10 but I'm getting there, slowly but surely. I need to build my sp hoard back up so I can afford some new weapons for when I hit T11. My set isn't great right now, but good weapons are wicked pricey (especially after this sp-sink of an event).

t11 is the expensive tier :P definitely worth saving up though :) I was only t12 during the last event, but I put in a ton of time so I could come in 5th overall.

I know... I'm so not looking forward to sinking a lot of sp into more weapons! I'm down to about 325mil at the moment, but I like to have a bit of a hoard for various things (friends' birthdays, WL items, etc.). I figure once I hit T11 I can go a bit more ham with planning weapons/scrolls sets since the weapons are so much better.

Good to know that even at T12 you can still get so much done! Yay slightly realistic goals :)

During the last event I was really only at T8 I think. Not so easy then. It's much better now! I can actually beat hard opponents and could probably beat more if I got a better set. I'm about 300 points per stat away from T11 right now, so I'm definitely focusing on T11 and working on using more boosters and trying to BQ more to use exp to increase the different stats.

PS today is the 7th of the month, which is a Coda Cave day! Get digging if you want those achievements (tiers up to 500 gems)

yeah if you put in the work in between events, you can make a ton of progress. a lot of people give up in between the events and then they don't see progress and they get even more discouraged.

After that last event, I am so determined to get back up there. I think the Saheric plot was actually the turning point for me. I was so pissed at missing out on a bunch of points because I couldn't battle that I started training just in case the next one around. That hasn't happened yet, so now I'll be super prepared for the next one :)

Has had my Neopets account for 12 years (solusauroraborealis) but I rarely am on it to do more than dailies - I just am attached to my pets even though I don't really care about dressing them. Been on Subeta for 9 years - so have seen a lot :) But I am still active here because I do like the plots because they have given me some great friends over the years. The Masquerade Ball and then Morostide always have been my favorite events.

I heard about it because it's set in Seattle and we live here, so there's this hometown familiarity. That and it's one of the few games you can actually play offline so you don't waste all your data. Win!

I'm pretty sure my UN was Tomoko59. I did like Christmas time there. I think I didn't like dressing my pets.

- I log on for dailies, so that's like 45 seconds a day? :P I still need a few of those random avatars (Geraptiku, Snowager...) but I actually got the Avatar Collector avatar a few months ago so I'm not sure why I still bother.

I still participate in plots and stuff if I notice them, but those are obviously few and far between. I think the last one was halloween 2014.

It's mostly just habit now. :P

I wish I knew why I didn't participate in much of the battling in that plot. Oh well. I do all the battling I can now and we may even see those challengers again some day xD

neopets avatar hunting is fun when you don't have a lot yet. after that it became too hard or too expensive. i use to farm np using habitarium until they discontinue it.
