the school I went to is a pretty big party school, but I never partook in it. greek life is an excuse to get drunk. so what if they do some community service, no one joins to do that. you're right though, no matter what gets done, someone won't like it. I feel like at least in this case, something should have been done differently, but whatever :p
We should play some online games too, like CAH and Pictionary. I love those
I would be down with CAH!
Whatever the creative task is, I'm not going to win haha. My mom and sister are super artsy, and even my dad is secretly pretty creative. I try but it's a lot more work than it is for the rest of my family. I'm getting better if it's in the form of a baked good, but that's about it. xD
I think it would actually be kind of cool if they could do like a community service-oriented event over the summer. Maybe something like playing certain games/doing certain quests to help an NPC? I love the updated Subetapedia which has all the added tidbits about the different NPC characters.
CAH would be fun. I love Pictionary, but I can't imagine trying to draw with a trackpad haha. My family makes fun of me during Pictionary because I try to draw every detail. Science brain ftw (except not since my dad's team normally ends up winning)
ooh yeah! totally! I should set up a "fun and games" board to schedule activities and stuff :)
my mom and sister are too. I got the math/science genes I guess.
I honestly don't care about npc information. I don't play the game for the lore :p but I don't mind community events, free stuff is something I don't complain about. well I complain about it, but I'm not mad at it xD
I'm the math/science person in my family, but my dad was an engineer by trade so the apple didn't fall too far from the tree. I get that NPC stuff isn't for everyone, but it gives plots/events a starting point. I love getting free stuff on here too, normally with minimal complaining. Well, minimal out-loud complaining.
I really want more puzzle stuff. That's the one thing I liked about old neo plots when they had lots of puzzles and the site kind of worked together to figure things out. I love trying to figure things out and bouncing different ideas off of friends while we're all trying to figure out what the next step is. It makes my inner nerd very happy
my dad is a doctor, I have a degree in computer science. I complain just to hear my voice. I don't actually care as much about most things as it sounds like I do.
more puzzles would be good. neo puzzles were borderline impossible sometimes x-x
Impossible, or they just took waaaaaay to much work for what you got out of it in the end. I wasn't really around for that one sloth plot, but I've heard stories.
I LOVED those. They were so hard and required so much cooperation, but they felt so incredibly satisfying once we figured out the next step. And for the people who couldn't hack it, they could just wait until other people figured it out and then do the steps later on.
My dad got his engineering degree back in the 80s then got an MBA when he wanted to make a shift so he could spend more time with my sister and me. I got a bio degree and am debating a master's in bioinformatics or maybe comp sci depending on what exactly I decide I want to do. If the job market weren't a factor, I'd go for a PhD.
I complain a lot too but not always very seriously. Sometimes I just like to talk (which is something I definitely got from my mom).
I think if they gave us a really impossible plot on here, they'd give us some damn good prizes. So that would actually be pretty cool
I feel like neo only had plots when I wasn't playing. they just pissed me off because it's a kids site, yet they made the plots for (smart) adults? confusing.
subeta had that one puzzle in the saheric plot that was pretty difficult :P
Yeah it seems to be a bit better here as far as event rewards go. And that staff actually listens to the players a decent amount of the time.
Also yay science people! I just graduated with a degree in engineering, I still have to find a job though but I've been working on some personal things too. Hopefully soon though!
Neo is super confusing with how they operate themselves. A lot of their site events have been better suited for adults, but they treat their players like 5 year olds when it comes to chatting and all that. Such a disconnect there.
I won't be surprised when it closes down. and I will be sorta happy. I closed my premium awhile ago yet it is still active and I am not getting charged.
They've been having a lot of issues for a while now. I still go on there a bit, but for the most part I don't really care about it anymore.
when subeta goes down I check my interest and ignore my mail.
I still do dailies on there sometimes, but for the past couple of years I've directed my attention more towards subeta. It's just more fun now and there's actually stuff to do.
things are obtainable, and staff actually is around. they care.
I loved that plot. Fortunately, that was during a summer when I was only working part-time so I was online right when they released the new step. I thought the most annoying puzzle was the stupid slide puzzle thing where you had to reassemble the picture. I hate those things.
I love how many science people we have here! I live with a law student and an English/psych major so they just look at me funny if I talk science at them. I pretty much quit Neo I think when I was in high school after being on there since I was 11, so I hit some of the older plots but have missed all the new stuff. The Lost Desert one was hard but amazing. That and the Altador ones are the only ones I remember, and I did a lot of them myself. I've always loved puzzles, and I think this site would be a great place for some good ones, especially since it's geared towards an older crowd.
I completely quit Neo when I got into Subeta. I loved the community here, as well as the HAs and how it was actually possible to get stuff (sp, items, etc.) on here.
I thought the plot was fun, there were things I disagreed with though (like always) but the puzzles were good. I don't know why I hardly battled during it... I musta been busy. I don't remember
I would love a puzzle-based plot that also had some battling and flash games involved. That way I can do everything :) I was so intimidated by battling when I first joined. I wish I had gotten into it earlier so I wouldn't have had to sit those parts of the site events out the first few years I was on here.
