I am working on a sort of "do it yourself" countdown calender for my senior citizens.

This contains a small story for each day and afterwards we do something typical for the christmas time singing - baking - creating cards and so on

Got most of the Xmas gift shopping (online section) done, and have enough left for a few CSC so time to shop there before the sale ends. :)

Bit scary that the site will be down for 12 hours on the 2nd, but let's hope that aids the site stability!

I plan on getting melody done at midnight and hope to do quests in the evening...

Let's hope that it will be less than 12 hours anyway! But that sounds like a good plan if you are on at those times.

Creativity is always something to be encouraged, too many people forget how to make things fun for themselves and others.

- I love being creative. for example I've painted Rudolph the reindeer on 4 huge teacups (and will fill them with home made candy) for the people who have to work with me on the 6th of december, which is Nikolaus here in Germany.

Not sure if they all like it, but I still think on specail days we need to show how much we appreciate the people we work with.

It's especially fun when you can craft with other people - I am setting up some crafting (decorating some little wooden snowflakes) for a family event coming up. There will be glitter everywhere, and I will even encourage the moody teenagers to join in!

Homemade/crafted things, I think, show an extra level of 'thinking about you' for the person who receives them. :)

I know I so love to get those! There will be a cookie/gingerbread weekend with all the kids.
