By the power of Bowie we shall navigate the crypts!

Sorry to hear about your/ family hacking problems on Neo. It's as bad as politicians on Neopets: yes, we have problems, but it was all the previous administration's fault for not doing things!

Ah, good luck! I went ahead and got them already, it just depends on how easily you think you'll be able to make your money back. Between clearing out my old gallery and selling some stuff I found in there, and the weekend quests + free GA, that really helped.

The new line is pretty great. I haven't gotten any of the items, but I enjoyed all of the references! xD

I'll be able to make back the sp eventually for sure aha. (I'm trying to decide whether I want to lol) I'm just trying to work out whether it's cheaper to get the sp and buy them or try to get them off other users. How much did you end up paying overall?

I didn't really keep track, but probably like 180-200 million. I only had to buy 2,000 CSC because I got a 500 CSC card from one of the filled wardrobe achievements that I got when clearing my gallery.

I ended up buying CSC first and then buying the bobbleheads from the cash shop, because there weren't any in shop search and I'm too lazy to try and find sellers in the forums. I tried to buy when the price of 500 CSC was in the 44-46 million range, although it looks like it's gone up a bit now.

Same here ! I sometimes only socialize during the events but the site feels more dull without chatting a bunch. D:

Oooo , that makes sense your parents didn't keep extra stuff since there was a lot of moving. That definitely contributes to our lack of keeping stuff right now. I used to be in the AF and Husband still is so it's a shit ton easier to have as little stuff as possible to move every couple years. XD

, yes!!! More books!!! I do try to only buy ones I think I will re-read but every once in a while I impulse buy one at the store that looks like it might be good. Lol. Also, totally agreeing with the ice cream vote for post-chili madness! ;)

Oh man I would love to alphabetize mine but right now since they are all on one big bookshelf I have them organized more by size instead. Gotta have the bigger/heavier ones near the bottom. sigh One day there will be a fancy library! XD

I need to buy a nice version of the LotR books. :o I do have a nice one of the HP books. <3 Series I tend to re-read besides HP include Hitchhiker's Guide, some mythology books, Ender's Game, Seventh Son, Magic Kingdom for Sale... hm, more than I realized. Oh and some random book series I got at the airport once, The Complete Fuzzy. It is about colonizing other planets and if they fall within certain ranks being able to gather resources from them. So a big corporation runs a mining thing on one planet till a guy discovers a species that might be sapient and then it's a big court battle to prove it and change the planet's classification to stop mining, etc. Kinda nerdy but mega interesting.

Thanks, and good luck to you! Hopefully the price can go down a little before they get retired again.

Yeah, it makes the moves easier when you don't have a lot of junk. It also makes sense that people who live in one place for a long time would have stuff build up in storage and such that never gets thrown out. We've been in one place for a while now though, but we still try to go through the house once a year or so to clear out junk and stuff.

Hmm also that book series does sound pretty interesting, I may have to add it to my list of things to read.

It was surprisingly good ! I think I got to read it too and she enjoyed it a lot. Plus, they make the Fuzzies themselves sound so cute! Almost ewok-ish. XD It's by H. Beam Piper and it's 3 books but the Complete Fuzzy includes them all. I really think it'd make a great movie trilogy tbh but I doubt that'd happen. Sci-fi and fantasy are definitely my go-to genres. Although I do like some of the classic romance books like Jane Eyre and Pride & Prejudice. blush

Aw, it sounds cute! Fantasy and mythology kind of stuff was definitely my favorite as a kid, and I still like it a lot. I'll add it to my list, although I don't know when I'll get around to it.

Sci-Fi/Fantasy are definitely my favorite genres. Every once in a while I'll still look around the "young adult" or "teen" sections to see if some of the authors I used to love and still putting out books. Fantasy is definitely my go-to. My dad is the same way about sci-fi/fantasy stuff so it makes it easier to justify trying out a book or series because I can send them his way if I think he'd like them too haha

I liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiive!

I did pretty well with surgery, and unless I do something STUPID (such as; lift a dog, carry anything "heavy"), I don't feel all that sore. Man, post-op boobs look weird, they're all high up and such. Like, super weird. I don't even know what cup size I'll actually be until the swelling drains away and they "drop".

Yeah, they have to drop. It's weird.

How is everyone else? Did anyone get hit with the Neopets hack? Anything major happen? Sorry I missed the last of Vesnali, but I couldn't get on the hospital's wifi. That, and, well I wasn't awake for most of it. Post-op exhaustion is a shark tit.

YAY! I'm glad your surgery went well, hope everything continues to work out during your recovery!

Apparently the Neopets hack was back in 2012 but it just got brought up now for some reason. My current account there isn't old enough to have been affected, so it doesn't matter to me.

My accounts are ANCIENT. If you can, MysticUnicorn60487 is my only remaining account, if it's even still there, haha. God knows when I last logged in.

Yeah, everything is going good so far. Although I now realized I TOTALLY WILL NOT GET THAT BUG CATCHING ACHIEVEMENT UUGHHHGHGHGHGHG

Haha, looks like it's still there but not been used in forever. "Last Spotted: A long, long time ago"

My other account was older, from like 2004 or so. But it got frozen a few years ago and I sort of quit Neopets for like a year, until I went back in like 2014.

But wait, you should still be able to get the achievement. It's just for finding all 30 of the bugs, and I think they said bug catching would be around until later August or so. You should have time to do it every day and still find them.

Well going every day helps you get it faster, but you don't really have to.

And yay congrats! I got more coins this year than I probably have before too, it helps having other people to chat with and help out. :)

YAY! Glad it all went well :) Interesting that your boobs will actually drop haha. Gravity I guess? :P

Bugs look like they'll be around for a bit. I missed a few days too just from forgetfulness, so that's good haha.

Glad you had a great Vesnali even if you missed the last bit of it!

Actually, yes, gravity. At least I'm much more independent than I expected, judging by the stories I had read online. I guess I bounce back really well? I mean, I could hold my hands over my head only hours afterward, which apparently is pretty cool? Yay me? I dunno.

How are you two doing today?
