that is smart to go right after high school, I never did, I didn't go back to school until I was 21. But I also knew with myself that I was not mentally ready to go to school. I needed to learn life and be an adult first. Then I was really able to appreciate my education.

My youngest, whom is almost 8 is so ready to go back to school. She wants to just learn, learn, learn. My oldest, whom is 10, is like, yeah, no. I want to stay home and sleep in and play minecraft all day. lol She just wants to go to school to socialize, not to actually learn anything.

and @ FLYINGKAT, on the 1st of every month, the wig addicts celebrate a different color wig (or some times other "hair" type of things)

for july, we all went into the salon, and made red white and blue wigs. this month we've GOT to do RED colored wigs, because there are to many of us "LEOs" that have red hair (or want red hair) LOL

i'm thinking for September, i'm going to do "wheat" /yellow/ hair. not Blonde, but YELLOW :D and for October, I'm going to do "HORNS AND KITTY EARS"

when i graduated, it wasn't pushed about going to college. not that big of a deal (and face it. back then, most of the girls that went, went to "find a husband" ha)

when I became preggers, i kept talking about my little "red headed baby" i was asked "how do you know it's going to be redhead?"

(now, i'm redhead, but the hubby is brown/dk brown hair)

and I used to look at the person asking, like 'ARE YOU CRAZY, OF COURSE MY BABY IS GOING TO BE A REDHEAD"

i had NO Doubts. lol

and sure enough, BOTH my kids are redheads. of course, i found out later, that my husband's family has redheads also. (but they're more the "strawberry blonde" in MY Opinion)

i used to love my red hair. my daughter does to (loves hers). all the "elderly love us" (oooohhhhh how cute you are with your beautiful red hair) and i always was thankful that i wasn't one of those "orange" redheads with tons of freckles.

i couldn't help myself. all my childhood growing up, i had a ton of aunts and uncles, always telling me how beautiful my redhair was and how cute i was. heh my mom always said (when people would say that) that "yes, but she knows that Real Beauty is how you are on the INSIDE"

grin. (she did good) she didn't want me to be vain. (so i was only vain in my head) hahahaaaa

really. with everything about "getting old" losing my eyesight, losing my teeth, losing my eyelashes, losing my joints...no i mean my bones, lol, losing my "red" out of my hair has been the hardest for me. grin. see what happens when you're vain, even in Your Own Head.

Oh my goodness, that is so awesome and cute that you totally knew your baby was a redhead. I swear mothers just know somethings sometimes. Like my mom knew she was having a baby girl even though there was no ultrasound to prove it. I do tend to enjoy the darker reds on men as well, bright coppery orange is great for girls though. IDK why I feel that way, but I do totally agree. I get all giddy thinking about red headed babies. lol hugs I am sorry that you lost the red and that it was the most difficult for you in the aging process. Did you go salt and pepper or straight white?

when i dye my hair, i get all the color back, Perfect. (doesn't look like "oh man, she dyed her hair") i 'm pretty sure it's because i'm a real redhead. BUT now that i'm over 60 now, i don't want to do that. i really can't stand/ ok. i don't like/ the way "old people" have that red hair. :( NOT naturel/normal at all.

grin. truth, (and probably before i go to the doctors....bad witchy) i want to go and get my hair dyed professionally, to an ash blonde. i'm finally getting some "grey hair" (found a good size "swatch" the other day) but after that, i probably won't get it done again. i'll just leave it.

have to admit, i never thought i would worry about going grey, because my father, when he went grey, it was perfect, it went from red to a "strawberry blonde" before it because full grey.

i thought it was perfect, and my hair would do that. but alas.... it didn't. to much of my mother in me (she was Very Dark hair/brown)

Oh that is worse, going to mud brown - how horrible! That is one of my fears, that I'll turn a strange color of mouse-brown and have to dye my hair. I've never dyed my hair before. I hope the ashe blonde works out especially with the roots/growing out. hugs Ooh the troubles we have due to our hair. LOL

my hairs mud brown with gray, its rubbish! I would like 'Bronde' which is basically a lot of fine white streaks, but its pretty expensive to have done, but you only need more streaks added now and then as it grows, cause your own grey filters in. do you know that the black wig in your siggy, is being sold in a couple of different colours now? theres a dark & purple I think and a dark and red. not private! I think we've spoke of these before?

Yes!! I know, I found out the instant they were put on site and contacted the releaser and she sold me one! I was SO ELATED I felt like I was going to explode from sheer ecstasy. <3 XD Thank you for telling me about it as well, you are so thoughtful and kind.
