Now Im worried lol, I can see that my face does look rather grumpy and unsmiling I dont mean to look like that at all, isnt that weird, I shall have to look into that I think! I like the fuller lips but theres not many that look smiley im going to check out that great makeup thread.

since you are so smart and willing to share info, I have a question about custom items being in batches/etc, I might have misunderstood some things since I was so new.... can/do people make "slots" for unlimited items? I just got two wigs I had slotted myself in (from the same person), and I was under the impression they would be limited, but they are actually both unlimited releases... the seller keeps their slot list off-site, so I guess I could never really see that there were "ten slots with x remaining open" vs "an open-ended list of preorders"... I might not have been as big of a hurry to get them if I knew they were going to be unlimited releases... how common is this practice?

well lrvt chat is locked. Heres an update Well things got crazier now. I ran into a problem with my roommates and have to move out asap. Its a long story, but basically via therapy i found out i was in an emotionally abusive relationship. Ending it was very dramatic today. Now i am emotionally exhausted. So i guess moving to LA would have been disasterous. So it was a blessing in disguise.

I'll be back and answer better for you when i get here. but sometimes, it may be an "unlimited" item...BUT... =it's cheaper if you get a slot, then if you wait till it's in the shop ( does this often, so do a few other sellers) =it's "unlimited" BUT they are only going to do it once a year (like i'm doing with the Dreaded Ewe wig)

there might be other reasons, also, but i'm in a hurry to get offline before 8am (will explain later)

, you asked over at PUNCTURE's thread. about my soup. truth. they're all pretty much "good" but i admit, that I like more "stuff" in mine. grin. i also found a recipe i'm going to check out, but it almost sounds like my "every thing soup" only rachael ray called it a "minestrone tortellini soup" i have to go and check the recipe out, to see if it IS like the one i made.

and the main difference, is that i usually put in carrots and celery into the soup. one time, i think i got REALLY confused, and made a mix of the Pasti e Fagioli and the Tortellini Spinach. @ georgie told me she didn't like spinach, and i remember that some people put in Kale. but i don't remember WHERE i got that recipe. lol Also. I found that "when i don't know what i'm doing" is when i make the best stuff :D i just wish i could remember to WRITE THINGS DOWN as i was doing them! hahahaa

Lol! :D Yeah we could get some crawfish, go out to the Lakefront, and drink margaritas. :D I've never eaten rattlesnake or alligator before--it looks too chewy yuck. :P That and I hate oysters too. I'm still trying to figure out a good recipe for crawfish etoufee, but I enjoy making crawfish and corn soup.

I add or take out a few things my recipes. We aren't a big fan of celery so they recipe diana gave me for the clam chowder I just take it out ^^ Did I hear you mention dr who? I love dr who. Wedding was dr who related lol and proposal

No Dr.Who for me, I watched two or three seasons of the new stuff and it just didn't do it for me, and I can not fake it for the sake of fitting in...

I typically discount for first batches or full slotted batches yes, as incentive to slot. I had to read up a bit to see what you were answering. It really depends on how things are being worded for sure, because I'm confused by the examples they used. If the seller said 10 copies with X slots open but they're unlimited, that can be construed as scamming. However, if they said that they'd already slotted other things and they were only taking 10 more slots and only X were left out of those 10, that's different.

in this case, there really was not any commentary one way or the other (and they keep their slots off-site do you can not see their slotting scheme laid out, in this case it was slotting for an unlimited item)...AND their shop had both limited and unlimited, so there we no pattern to follow. Since I'm new I was not sure is that was common place or not. Just trying to learn the standards do I.don't look like an ass later when I'm no longer new! Haha

Ah yeah - if you're ever unsure, it's always best to ask the releaser. Most folks don't have a problem telling you how many batches they plan (or if they're unsure so far or if it's going to be unlimited). In general, despite what you might hear from folks not in the community, most releasers are pretty okay with answering questions about past/present releases if you're polite :)
