yep, it was only a few months apart or so as well. I thought man, either y'all are selecting me on purpose or I'm one of the few in town for my age who don't have kids. I don't know what they pay here, as I have no interest in participating, just never feels right even if someone is guilty, who am I to make the call that could ruin their life? Then I have to wonder, what if they remember me and later on down the road I become a target? Yep, no thanks, haha. I'd rather not be someones revenge target, ya know?

Gah, that was one thing I wanted to do was ride in a cab when we were in NY at least for a short while. Cliche, I know but I would have done that over Times Square. I had zero interest in visiting that area but my hubs dragged me all the way saying "well, you should see it at least once..." Haha.

I have to work a long shift again tomorrow, but at least I'll be off this weekend lol. I'm going out with a friend Saturday night to see Dancing with the Stars in New Orleans. :D

I have to agree homemade is almost always best but if you can find a place that makes them good enough for every now and again when you don't feel like messing with it, that' a-okay too.

We had calzone a few weeks ago. We need to tweak our recipe some in order for us to be 100% content with it. Tonight though we had pizza. Mmm.

I thought it would be like the show itself too, but apparently it's only the main teacher/dancers doing different dances with other people. I don't believe any celebrities will be there, but they say we might have a surprise lol. Hopefully it's some rich single guy. :D

HAHAHAAA , HEY! i was just shocked that he at least TRIED to get me a "calzone, pizza bread wrapping up cheese pepperoni sausage" and truth. i was 'in the mood' because i had made some a couple of weeks ago, using my sauce. heh. face it. i should have just made more. but i didn't want to do all that work (because i had no more sauce in the freezer. so i wouldhave had to start from 'scratch'. to lazy) heh.

you won't see me today. i'm making some of those rachael ray meat balls (even if i don't have the cheese) and this weekend, i'm going to make jambalaya, even though, most of that will go in the freezer for the girl. then i'll keep some and give the rest to the boy. i may make the sauce for the meatballs, this weekend also. the man likes eating them with no sauce, but i love the crusty bread, with sauce and meatballs. and with superbowl, i'm in the mood for some "yums!!!" like that. (heh. not that we will be watching the game. but i'll probably have it on for the commercials)

OH and , My Aunt would LOVE to be there! she LOVES Dancing :D

Yeah, hopefully. :D Especially once new girl is trained and gets a key. He fired the last new girl so now we're onto a new new girl. XD I like this one too. Although she's having to learn some computer basics that she should have already had. I had to teach her how to make a new folder on the desktop and how to rename stuff on a computer.

Honestly, I think I like this HA I made last night than the one I made the night before. I made the one the night before without thinking of the first and just changing it to a black wig didn't look good. So I changed it completely.

I guess I could understand the cab thing, how it's an actual experience, rather than just gawking at stuff. I mean nowadays, Times Square is just riddled with hipsters hanging around the red tables and trying to not get assaulted by a giant stuffed animal :D

I think the best time to get a cab in NYC was 80s/90s, because they still had some of the retro checker cars back then. Even though I was just a kid then, I remember them! They just had more personality you know? Nowadays they're all modern and sterile (and better for the environment). But then again, I am obsessed with all 80s retro stuff.

I dropped my cell phone in a NYC cab years ago, and I actually got it back, but not before some girls that found it used it to make a bunch a crank calls to everyone in my contact list, and then some. Ohhhh the voicemails I had gotten LOL

I can't even look at my phone for 15 seconds without getting a severe migraine, so any amount of LED means it is out for me. I will have to check out the e-ink technology and see what it is about. I am glad that there is a e-reader that you can use, it makes a big difference to be able to add more things to you 'able to do' list.
