May I ask you two about kindles?
If you have a kindle and purchase books for it you can send them for free to other kindle users? Also, if you have a kindle you get a kindle email?

Can you have a kindle connected to your PC and not actually use a kindle reader to read books (or use both)?

Are there free kindle books or do they all cost money, and can you buy any book you want (like even popular reading books like anew Harry Potter book for random example)?

grin. well, since i love playing in the wardrobe, and i have about 5 avatars in outfits, that i still haven't worn yet, then, yah. lol no problem finding another outfit to wear a black wig with. heheheee

LOL i love the questions. especially since and I just figured out how to send books to each other.

1. yes. if you have purchased the book and have it in your "account" SOME books you can "Loan This Title" (NOT ALL BOOKS. very disappointed about that) and it does not cost any one any thing. (you need the persons e-mail addy and to give permissions)

2. Yes. you can read books off your computer. i used to do that all the time. you still have to have an "app" for the computer to load the books/read. (in fact. i had downloaded most of my books from a site that is no longer online. as long as i have the app that i can open the books with, i can still read them on my laptop. i had saved the app and the books in a folder, and saved on a dvd. but i can still read them.)

and 3. yes. you can buy any book you want, BUT it May NOT be lendable. (and i don't think you really know, till you buy it)

i CAN warn you. from what i'm seeing in my list...(and i have over 450 books) it seems that the very "popular" authors don't have the lend-a-bility, that some "not so well known" authors.

If I'm called, I'm doing the hair super bright purple, wearing black lipstick, wearing the lowest top I have, and bringing my Satanic tote bag with me, along with Juror nullification literature to hand out. They will regret the day they bothered me.

I on the other hand prefer to waste their time by letting them get started in the process only to tell them I don't believe in judging a situation that is none of my business. You ought to see how perturbed the lawyer became with me. I managed to sway a good amount of folks into saying something similar. Luckily I have the purple hair already, so the freakshow look will take me about 5 minutes to achieve. I'm from NY, but Long Island is kind of a conservative-esque area...so I get looks whenever I leave the house as it is.

Seriously, there are hundreds of people that ignore these things and NOTHING HAPPENS TO THEM. But if you're a good little citizen and actually go, they interrogate and treat you like a criminal.

I know people in their 40s-60s that have the means to get there, and have never even gotten a questionnaire. I'm 32, and this is like my 5th one.

And a telephone standby, you don't know if you have to go in until 5pm the day before. That's like NO NOTICE. Some people have to call in for weeks at a time. Like a hostage situation.

Phew! I thought I'd missed the 1st for one crazy minute! Because Im in England, my calendar says 1/2/17 on my computer,but if I look at the date above peoples posts it says 2/1/17 so I was all mixed up. Now to enjoy looking at everyones black wigs. Hope you dont mind if I say about books too, Here in england we've got Amazon 'prime' that you pay for, my daughter and I both have kindles and we can share books because we're set up as a 'household' and can share,you dont have to, but twice as many books, whats not to like? anyway I told her today Ive just started reading Stephen Kings Joyland and she was amazed because shes reading it too, she had forgotten that we could share, and had no clue how it had gotten onto her kindle let alone all the Dean Koontz books lol. [I like horror, but I will read anything Ive even looked at her books about rare sheep breeds and their fleece] You dont need a kindle, you can download the app onto a phone or Tablet or PC like Witchy says, but I like the lightness of kindles & I think using my tablet was giving me migraines, kindles are made at the correct light and dpi for reading the newer ones anyway,Id recommend the paperwhite. there are free books I think theres at least 100 classic type books that are free,and lots at £1. Apologies for butting in :0)

Thank you! I blame for putting the hair out onto the site. It's too cute :) Also when mentioned email address, it's our personal email. It seems the kindle email doesn't work when lending ebooks to each other. It took us three tries before it worked lol.
