After all those butterbeers Fade had needed to use the restroom urgently. On the way back he ended up becoming engrossed in a very strange conversation with one of the paintings they had brought down to adorn the hall between the boys and girls rooms. When he finally realized what time it was he nearly had a panic attack. He had promised someone a dance after all. Hastily he bowed out of the chat, and pushing his crown back on his head hurried over to where most of the students were gathering. Catching his breath he noticed a few new characters had joined the party. His eye lingered on a particularly interesting black and white ensemble () before realizing that he had been staring. Turning slightly red as was his custom, he averted his gaze and found his intended dance partner () involved in a conversation with another prince. Letting out a short sigh he plopped down in a vacant seat and let his feet rest a while, while his heart finally stopped beating quite so fast. As long as she was having a good time, that was what mattered most. Looking past the tables out onto the dance floor he was pleased to see enjoying herself with Magnus () Maybe if the night proceeded as planned, he would be able to join them before it was all over.

"I know you were," Megan smiled at Millie. "I think I may sit here awhile and just watch for a bit."

Ernessa sat back down at the table after grabbing herself some more food and turned to 'what were we talking about before I left? Oh yes, after Hogwarts, I definitely want to travel aswell, maybe go somewhere where they'll let me ride a dragon!'. She then turned to who had extended his hand to her and shook it firmly, 'I am having a nice evening, thanks, are we the only slytherins down here?'

Sauvage gasped, "Oooh, a dragon? Really? You're pretty brave! Do you have a favorite dragon?"

Sauvage looked up from her conversation with Ernessa to find Fade walking back into the ballroom. He looked a bit tired as he sat down and Sauvage wondered if she should bother him for that dance. She shrugged and decided that if he didn't talk to her before then she would go say hi after her conversation had ended with Ernessa.

'Yeah, I think it would be so amazing, dangerous though, they do say you can't really tame a dragon. I don't think I could choose a favourite dragon, they are all so different, but maybe a Norwegian Ridgeback, the fact that they are venomous as well is fascinating.'

"Wow, that's really cool. I don't know anything about dragons. I had no idea that some were even venomous! What's you favorite trait of their's?"

"I'm going to sit here for a while too. My feet hurt". Millie finished off her juice and asked, "Does anyone need a refill?"

'Definitely the whole breathing fire thing' Ernessa said, laughing. 'Are you interested in magical animals?'

(OOC trying not to confuse my Harry Potter dragon knowledge with my Skyrim dragon knowledge haha)

'Oh! I'll have a refill, thanks' Ernessa said, holding her glass out to Millie.

Megan looked into her goblet and noticed it was empty. She took out her wand and pointing to her goblet say "aquamenti" and her goblet filled once more with water. "I think I'm okay for now," she told Millie with a smile.

"Well, I love to fly on winged horses. I used to attend Beauxbatons; there, we generally used Abraxan winged horses for transportation rather than a broom like at Hogwarts. But they are so much more that transportation, of course!" Sauvage stammered, trying not to offend the majestic creatures. "As a Beauxbatons student one is expected to be equipped with the general knowledge to care for and tame a winged horse. I've never had one personally, but I've always dreamed of having my own Granian."

Ernessa was intrigued, 'oh you went to Beauxbatons? It sounds wonderful there; how come you left, if you don't mind me asking?'

"I don't mind. I transferred here mostly to be with my parents. They both lost their jobs working with the Ministry of Magic in France so they came here to get new ones. Now, my mom uses her herbology skills helping a couple maintain their shop in Diagon Alley and my dad is a curse breaker for the Ministry of Magic here. They let it be my decision whether I wanted to stay at Beauxbatons or come with them here and attend Hogwarts. I'm not really sure why I chose Hogwarts, though...I guess I just liked the idea of change."

"You got it." Millie said as she took Ernessa's glass. She smiled at Megan as she made her way to the refreshment table

Itachi saw what Beth was about to eat and started to think off all the amazing things he could possible have. But, he had to pick one. "I was thinking maybe, some caviar and lobster. Oh and a side of home made mac and cheese." He smiled and he stomach as grumbling even more just at the mention of the delicious food. Itachi then sat down at the table next to Beth, picking up his wand he did a spell to make vodka and fruit punch appear in a glass, he started to sip on it. ()

"Yeah! Dancing will be fun!" Emmy exclaimed, as Aderyn tugged her out of her seat once they'd both finished eating. "This band is really great!"

Wisteria smiles at and plays a little with her tail. She notices looking at her and smiles a does a shy wave. "I think I might call it a night...I think Ive partied myself out."

Wisteria gets up and yawns feeling worn out. She makes her way through the crowds to the exit to leave.
