( ) Gaia smiled at Megan "No worries! No one is really paying attention to us! Here follow me." Gaia started doing the simple side to side step "Once you get the step and the rhythm we can start using our hips so it completes the dancing."

Megan took a deep breath and looked down at her feet to keep track of what it was she was doing, and hopefully not stepping on Gaia's feet. She stepped sideways, once, twice, three times now and so far didn't seem to be in any kind of danger of messing up so she lifted her head to smile at her friend. "How's this?" she asked.

Poppy emerged back in the main tent after fixing her makeup. The Woodland Wanderlust's first set was really picking up but she needed a little liquid courage. A butterbeer was a good place to start. Looking at all the couples was starting to make her feel shy, so she decided to get some fresh air and examine the tall silver fountain that Beth () had devised.

Aderyn was extremely relieved to see Emmy wake up a few minutes after she'd eaten the charmed apple, and even more relieved when her own head went back to normal soon thereafter. A few hairs out of place in her pony tail were small potatoes compared to having a pumpkin for a head. She was glad that at least a couple of other students had suffered no ill effects from the apples. Smiling and waving to her friends to show she was okay, she tugged on Emmy's hand.

"Let's go join the others! We can grab a quick bite to eat and then hit the dance floor! I'm loving the music so far, and look! The wisteria vines... they seem to be growing like they like the music, too!"

"I'm still trying to pluck up the courage to dance," she admitted to , wondering how long she could avoid dancing for.

"It was either this or the wolf itself, and I thought the wolf would be a bit too boring," (), "besides, anything that didn't involve fur would mean having to magically remove all this, and I wasn't going to attempt that," she added with a grin.

Paddy was pleased the bagpipe music had ended - despite her love of Scotland, she found the low droning sound of the pipes almost echoed around inside her head. The Woodland Wanderlust was more her kind of music and she found herself tapping her foot to the folk-style tunes.

"Mmm butterbeer..." Ethel's roll slowed for a moment as her thoughts wandered off into a tangent on the glorious scrumptiousness of butterbeer. She shook off her daydream briskly when the band started playing and jumped into a discombobulated combination of the Twist and the Swim.

When she was joined on the dance floor by a couple of her classmates ( ) she gave them an enthusiastic double thumbs up and then performed two jumping jacks and a high kick before twirling around with her arms akimbo. "You guys have some great moves!"

After a few more moments of dancing she saw Gaia was back and with company! ( ) "Hello!" she said, giving them a jazz-hands wave. "Hey where's my butterbeer!" she added to Gaia with a playful scowl.

Looking up and laughing Gaia noticed Aderyn was back to normal and waved at both of her friends ( ) "It is good to see you back to normal!" Gaia heard talking to Fade () and left Megan long enough to grab her other friend "dance lesson in session!" Gaia beamed at Paddy and started teaching her the same moves.

Gaia starred at her friend's moves () "You are going to hurt someone... or worst, yourself!" Gaia laughed pointing at their table "Your butterbeer is on the table where Fade and Adrien () are chatting. All our things are there if you want some food too."

Adrien saw Aderyn and Emmy headed towards the tables and waved them over, "Hey guys, you can sit here if you want!" He motioned to the empty seats at his and Fade's table. He looked off to the side and watched as Gaia was showing Megan and Paddy how to dance and watched as Ethel jazz-handed her way up to them. He laughed when he heard the remark about the butterbeer and picked her bottle up that Gaia had left on the table, wagging it in the air to let her know it was there.

“Yeah, OK.” Fade agreed to save a dance and watched ’s wings disappear into the crowd. Not that he was looking forward to embarrassing himself on the dance floor in front of a pretty older girl. Taking a deep drink of his butterbeer he deposited the empty container on a passing tray and scooped up another before turning to accept the plate from Adrien. () “Sure thing!” So long as he didn’t feel like a third wheel he was happy to tag along. After piling his plate with various goodies he made his way over to the designated table.

Everything was delicious, it was hard to stop himself from eating it all. But at the risk of looking like a pig he was able to moderate himself. Looking up he noticed the wings he had spotted earlier, attached to an equally lovely lady, coming to sit at their table. She introduced herself as Megan. () “Hey, I’m Fade. Nice to meet you.” He smiled and pushed his crown farther back on his head.

The band had begun to play and Fade was very interested to get a closer look at the members. Last term he just about missed the performance. This term there was even someone with giant ears. Secretly Fade had been practicing growing a pair of his own, there was no way he was going to miss out this time around. As the girls departed for a dance, Fade turned to Adrian and shook his head. “Nah, not this time.” He sat back in his seat and twirled his glass of butterbeer in one hand on the table. “Been sort of reclusive after the holiday. Still not caught up on all my work. Sort of a bummer.” Even if he hadn’t had the workload he wasn’t exactly brave enough to ask anyone anyway.

Adrien tilted his head over at Fade, "Do you want any help with the work? You don't have to be reclusive, if you only focus on the holiday work for too long, that's enough to drive anyone a bit mad." He brought his glass up and took a long sip. "I see that you're lined up for a dance with Sauvage, eh?" He grinned at his friend. "That'll be loads of fun, don't you think?"

“That’s OK, I appreciate the offer. But it isn’t right for me to put it on anyone else. My fault I fell behind in the first place.” He finished his drink and pushed the empty container away on the table. At the mention of the future dance Fade had promised, his cheeks flushed a rosy shade of pink. “If she likes having her toes stepped on I suppose.” Sure he liked to dance around alone in his room at home as much as the next person, but he was entirely untrained in any formal style of dancing. As far as he knew, the ladies who attended the Beauxbaton's Academy all had extensive lessons. “With any luck I won’t make a total fool of myself. You ever take lessons?” Pushing some hair out of his face his blush began to diminish slightly.

He nodded and placed his drink back on the table, "I have. It comes in handy a bit now, but it was torture as a kid. I begged to not have them, but my mum insisted. We had to go to many ministry balls growing up and I was supposed to represent my family appropriately, I guess. I even had to go to a few Beauxbatons gatherings." He shuddered at the memory of having to spend nights practicing dance moves. "I wouldn't worry too much about it, though, mate. She seemed really excited and you'll find you don't need lessons to dance. Just feel the music and let your body follow it." Adrien said with a smile.

“Wow, that sounds intense.” Fade wondered if his mother hadn’t suffered through much of the same treatment as a child. Maybe it was why she was so lax about so many of his mannerisms back home. “But it does look like everyone out there is having fun.” So much so that Fade felt inclined to join them. If only to get a better look at the band. It wasn’t exactly his taste in music, but the energy on the floor was enough to elicit a good time. He appreciated Adrian’s pointers, even if he doubted the tips would do much to improve his dance moves. “Wana take a closer look?”

Millie stopped at the refreshment table and picked up a cherry syrup soda and waved to her friends. She made her way over to them and said, "You all look wonderful!! I don't know what I want to do first!"

Aderyn laughed as she and Emmy approached Gaia and the others.

"It's nice to have a head again. Funny the things we take for granted until they're taken away from us! We're going to go have a quick bite to eat, now that we can eat again, and then we'll join you to dance! Don't have too much fun without us!"

She waved back at Adrien and tugged Emmy in the direction of the table, knowing the other girl was likely just as starved as she was. Being a pumpkin really took it out of her!

"Thank you! We'd love to sit for a bit."

She pulled out a chair for Emmy, pushing the girl in once she was seated and then looking down at her.

"What do you want to eat? I'll bring whatever you'd like. And anyone else, too - if you need anything, I can bring it back from the buffet!"

As Millie joined them, Aderyn smiled brightly.

"I'd say eat first, then work off the calories on the dance floor! The bobbing for apples is fun, too, if you're not overly concerned about having a pumpkin for a head for a bit!"

OOOH! I like the melodious music of the Woodland Wanderlust band!

"I'll come up with you because I'm not sure what's being served. I love to look at how they present the food too. And that sounds awesome"

Millie turned to Judy , "Hi Judy. Thank you! You look lovely as well. I'd love to. I need to work up an appetite."

You should totally tell them, get those 4 together, what a treat! :) I totally did NOT lose this round! :D

Adrien smiled as Garnet and Emmy sat down and had brought along a few people. "I'm Adrien, it's a pleasure to meet you," he said to the new faces of Judy and Millie. He stood up and offered his seat to the girls before going to tell Gaia that he was headed up to the band with Fade. "Let's head up there, mate!" He laughed to Fade and made his way with the boy to where the musicians were playing.

Poppy sipped her butterbeer and regarded the fountain curiously. She decided to take a chance and washed her hands in its basin. It seemed like plain water, although she did notice that her hands seemed softer and smelled faintly of roses. The moonlight made everything silvery and mysterious.

"It got crowded in here!" Poppy saw a lot more people eating once she returned, and was immediately greeted by some charming revelers. With her second butterbeer in hand, she decided to circulate among them before hitting the dance floor.

"Millie ()! I'm glad you made it. The flowers in your hair smell great."

"I'm glad your head is yours again. Enjoy your dinner Aderyn ()."

"I do like this band. What did you think of the opening act Judy ()?"
