"The more the merrier, I'd say. You ladies could have fun dancing while Fade and I take a closer look at the band." Adrien replied, winking at his date before beaming at the other girls. "We should all head up there! I'll bring drinks for everyone."

"Hello Adrien, it's lovely to meet you as well. Thank you for the seat. I'm sure I'll see you over on the dance floor once I eat some dinner"

"My favorite thing about this ball is the theme. This setting is perfect. It's fun to get dressed up in costumes rather than in just dress robes too. What about you?"

On their way to the front Gaia spotted Poppy () and Beth () chatting "we are all going to the stage to see the band up close. Want to join us?!" Gaia smiled at her friends.

Dutifully Fade departed with Adrian () intent on the stage. Along the way they came across the girls who had gone to dance earlier, and a number of other familiar faces. After having put down two butterbeers rather quickly, Fade was feeling warm and a little less self conscious. He was even looking forward to having promised a dance later in the night. “I need some practice. Who wants to dance?” Ever the most charming of princes.

Up close the band was really exhilarating. Ducking beneath one of the many writhing vines pouring from the stage, Fade couldn’t wash the grin off his face. It wasn’t as light showy as the opening act had been, but the Woodland Wanderlust’s sounded like they were only just warming up for a really spectacular show. It was incredible the tones that the Didgeridoo lent to the entire ensemble. Fade’s hair began to take on a warm spring green sort of tint, perhaps it was just the lighting.

"Hi everybody! We heard ahead of time that this term's ball had the theme of fairytales! The Woodland Wanderlust loves fairytales, and we wanted to put a little challenge forth for you. We're looking for the following fairytale and children's story related items and the stories they are from!"

Arborea set up a large poster of ten items for all to see, then stepped off the stage to join her band members on a reprieve.

Millie followed the group to the dance floor. She wanted to dance some before eating dinner. "I'd love to dance, Fade." Millie smiled cheerfully.

Millie waved Beth over to her. "I haven't had a chance to dance either. The band is great."

Adrien laughed as one of the vines from the stage ran up his sides and patted it as he watched Fade take in the stage with excitement. He could see the butterbeers had had an effect on the boy, and was pleasantly shocked when he asked the girls who wanted to dance. "Atta-boy, Fade," he said as Millie accepted his request. He smiled at the pair and turned around to look for the others. He walked up behind Gaia and cleared his throat, "May I have this dance?" He winked at her and had a dashing smile on his face, offering his hand to her.

() "I would love to!" Gaia took Adrien's hand and giggled. "The band is amazing!" Gaia said to Beth () and Megan () while they were close by still dancing.

@ everyone & anyone Sauvage polished off her butterbeer and looked around the ballroom. Everyone seemed to be heading to the dance floor, despite the band going on a short break. She had lost track of everyone at the ball and wished she had someone to socialize with. With a reluctant shrug, she snagged a bite to eat from the dining table and wandered over to the dance floor. Ain't nothing wrong with dancing solo.

Adrien spun Gaia around him and pulled her close, before laughing and spinning her back in order for them both to dance to the music. He looked around at his friends around him and caught sight of a girl by herself and frowned. No one should be alone tonight. He called to her over the crowd. "Bonjour, Sauvage! If you want, you can come join our group, we'd love to have you over here." He waved her over to where they were crowded near the stage.

Thank goodness someone had noticed her. Sauvage had begun to feel terribly awkward on the dance floor by herself. She walked over to the two dancing; to the boy she said, "Oh, merci...uh. Pardonne, I don't think I know your name." She then nodded and smiled at - a sort of unspoken thank you for letting her join them. Sauvage tried to casually dance among them, still unable to shake off the feeling that she'd intruded.

"Hi Sauvage. You look lovely. Are you having a good time?" she asked

Sauvage thanked the girl for the compliment and said, "You look wonderful! I love your hair. And I'm enjoying myself. Again, thanks to you and your friends for saving me from solitude. I'm sorry, though. I don't think I'm familiar with the fairy tale you dressed as."

"I'm Millie. I'm a 3rd year Hufflepuff. I'm dressed as Rapunzel. And you're welcome. I hate to see anyone standing alone".

"My name is Adrien, it's nice to meet you! I'm sorry, I'd overheard your name when you were talking to Fade," he replied in French, scratching the back of his head. He'd noticed that she was kind of stiff in her movements and immediately tried to make her feel more comfortable. "I hope you don't mind that I called you over. I love to make new friends, and there's more than enough space for another member of our group." he smiled at her. "I hear that Fade's supposed to save you a dance, he should be around here somewhere. In the meantime, you can dance with us!" he said as he motioned to himself, Gaia, Ethel, Millie, Megan and Beth.
