I am not sure about the unlimited copies thing. I have just started researching because I am making a CW. So I am still figuring things out lol. If I can figure that part of things out I'll let you know. I know reading through everything is confusing as all heck.

From what I am reading, unlimited copies only means that they can release that item as many times as they want. But they still have to pay for the copies to be released.
And of course each different category cost different amounts. Like mine will be a dress, so it will cost me 5,000 CSC to make.
From what I understand you can also make a CW shop and put the item there. And then as it sells you get a certain amount of profit and the site takes a certain amount to pay for the item.
It's sort of confusing, but I am starting to understand it. So in most regards most people only make about a thousand CSC per batch of the item made. Because most people only price the item at about 100 CSC more then what it cost them to have it made.
Hmm sounds like the sort of thing you'll only fully figure out by doing it :c I imagine it's pretty hard to sell enough CWs since there are so many now D:
Wow, I had no idea CWs were so expensive to create! Now I don't feel as bad handing over 500+ csc for a wearable...

Yes it is kind of crazy! But my CW will exist. I will has my sakura dress lol. Even if I pay for it all out of pocket.

Woot! It is going to be a sort of midnight sakura. Darker in color. I won a slot with someone making it for me. And I knew what I wanted right away. sakura is my favorite.

I rent books if they're not related to my major. Music books are always so expensive because of the codes but it's helpful since you can use a book for several semesters, like I'm still using 4 books I bought last fall. It's just a wallet killer when you have to get new ones ? And even then, it's only usually $10-20 cheaper on Amazon

- It definitely makes sense to buy them if you're going to keep using them! I wish it wasn't so expensive, though. When I got to graduate school, some of my teachers were requiring five books, and that's crazy when taking four or five classes.

Also thank you guys for the kind words about the siggys. They are for sure a work in progress and I will be working on making them better. Ok I am here for a few doing quests so be prepared if I need sticker or gifting friends lol
Yeah, I've never bought a CW from the actual CW shop. The few CWs I have I've found in the Trade Center (except my very first CW which was a first lumi gift from the friend who asked me to sign up so she could get a referral point). Some times you can get some fairly good deals in the Donation Center or find CWs that aren't in the shops anymore. Last Lumi I did manage to grab a CW hair in the Donation Center, before I even knew what a CW was. It wasn't very impressive but I did eventually manage to sell it for some CSC in the Trade Center. Once in a Blue Moon CWs show up in the donation center (sort like Big Foot sightings lol), I think it's when someone's account gets cleared or they decide to clear it themselves.

Omg I just freaked out my roomates as I let out a wee squee for you! I am so excited for you. ALSO I have some help coming in from my best friend tomorrow about my graphics. He is a professional animator so he is going to help me learn how to hone what is in my head to paper lol So I will for sure redoing your sig this weekend.
If you're a sucker for wigs where the sides are shaved I definitely should not tell you about the 'Horned Hair Trophy' CW wigs and I would definitely have to warn you not to go to that CW shop and look at all the other shaved side wigs there ;)
