Well your family was an unusual case. I would be out in the barn petting all of them, too.

ours got fed by us and we were always out socializing with them the only we couldn't were the males that came by that weren't ours

i think our barn cats were the longest living i know but they were like our kitties just they lived outside 24/7

Well for them to live that long, you took very good care of them, and fed them good food.

just cheap cat food from the hardware store, LOL they were all very good hunters though ;D

The extra protein, LOL Shoot I had a dog that caught mice, the third one on my profile Carrie. She caught mice and ran around with them in her mouth after, she killed the. Grossed me out!

my old border collie would eat the mice one cat left around all the time.. it grossed my sister out so bad as i had moved out by then

well Carrie ate a lot of weird stuff for a dog like limes off my lime bush, figs off the fig bush, and apples of my apple tree. Although she taught Ringo to eat figs.

we always taught our dogs to eat rose berries well i believe i am off to bed ttyl
