Sometimes I wish I lived further east in Dallas, they always get good rain. Although, the driving is to much, Dallas is a large spread out city.

Believe me its not easy, I am originally from Montana. I grew up living by mountains all my life. Living here, since 1985 and still dont feel like I am comfortable with the environment. They have mountains, you and I would call hills. Initially my min problem was all the people here in El Paso, Texas and the peole from across the border makes for a very crowded city. I felt like all these people were breathing my air. I dream of a small town with the population way under 1000.

For me, 1000 would be perfect, I would even go up to 5000. Tired of the rat raace, its blows here to. People are so selfish nd ill mnnered, and got forbidden one of them shold learn how to hold a conversation face to face and not texting.

you must be living close to the res. We are 15 minutes in the car from Mexico border, border city life sucks. Cars/trucks come from Mexico with no insurance, cause car wrecks that they dont have to even pay for. Main reason my car insurance is one of the highest in the US. Its a double standard life on the border, US citizens have to abide by most of the laws here, and not those up from Mexico. But let one of our citizens go over there and do something wrong and they thrown them under the jail, and throw away the keys.

oh, theres reserves all over in canada.. almost every town can have its own reserve the one back home had a few known drunks but they usually stayed in the rez here not so much.. they just got millions because they had to have they're houses rebuilt/moved so they could make the highway double laned

Where did all those millions come from? Taxpayers pockets that can ill afford more taxes.

All our money and taxes go to supporting all the traffic from the border, they benefit and we pay the taxes. Makes me sick, there was a case of a American missionary that volunteered for 3 years in Mexico for no pay. He got into a car wreck so bad, he needed plastic surgery on his face. The cost of the surgery $30,000 merican dollars and they wouldnt release him to go back to the states unless it was paid. Fine thank you for all the free medical we have provide for years for illegals coming from Mexico.

Same here, they are constantly trying to make the uptown marketable. Kind of hard to attract out of town business, when the uptown area is ghetto looking in some areas. What did our city council do, well let me tell you? Their solution knock down the court house to put a brand new baseball stadium we already have one. Waste of taxpayer money. Then build a new court house, the other one was a great building, and it shouldnt have been torn down. The economy here sucks, employment worse for those college educated. My son has a masters degree, and cant find a job to use his degree with. His looking out of the city, and state.
