for me and most of my friends the "anon gift" thing was the most disappointing glitch, I'm so glad this will get fixed. we've all waited so long so a few days more is no big deal!

That is awesome news!! I don't recall if I was affected by this problem or not, but I'm totally glad for those that were! Trees by Tuesday with the possibility of no names within a few days period to Trees by Friday with a guarantee of names, I'd say that's a fair trade. (That sentence is worded poorly but you get my drift.)

At this point, I'm not expecting them anymore. I feel like every updates are to delay them again and again. Good news for those that really wanted the non-anon feature and that were pretty bummed tho.

I have been a member here for a very long time, and normally luminaire is my fav, but all the tree drama really dissapointed me. We have been waiting for more than 10 days, each morning another dissapointment, and now i thought atleast we will get to open the gifts on monday or tuesday, but no, we have to wait again until friday? That's 2 weeks late. I'm not excited for luminaire anymore, just very annoyed .
YAAAAAAAAAYYYYY. This was the only thing that was bothering me about the tree issue (since I did my present-giving late)

Glad to hear it! I'd much rather you took all the time you needed to make sure the trees are as complete and as fully functional as possible, instead of rushing to push out something half-baked. I can wait a little longer.

<p>1st of Jan: "Trees are still safe, we’ll be opening those sometime this week" (newspost - made on a Friday, so implying in the next two days)</p>
<p>1st of Jan: "I meant it as more of an "in the next 7 days" sort of thing." (comment on the newspost)</p>
<p>2nd of Jan: "at this point I expect them to be ready by Monday or Tuesday." (announcment)</p>
<p>4th of Jan: "This does mean pushing the trees release back a day or two, which means the trees will be out on Friday at the absolute latest." (Announcement)
While I'm very glad it's getting properly fixed, this drip feeding of logging on and finding it's been pushed back has made the wait seem much, much longer than it actually is. Nothing you can do about it at this point, and I know staff were giving those dates in good faith, but I feel like I've needlessly wasted my time checking in frequently to see if there's been an update.
