I haven't been posting everyday (the last week has been busy), but I wanted to thank our Christmas Fairy C: Every gift has brought a smile to my face, and some giggles to my day as I read some of the responses ^_^ Especially those mad libs, lol.

I have just put the Christmas music channel on I listen to that. I love the classics, like Jingle Bells and Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer(this one because my little one just sang it at her school concert and oh my...so cute!!) and I love Mariah Carey's All I Want for Christmas from the Love Actually soundtrack(favorite Christmas movie of mine)

Thank you CF! I love Christmas music. Well, music. :D I'll be wrapping gifts this evening so I'll try out a playlist or two then.

'Twas the century before Christmas, and all through the star labs, Not a creature was stirring, not even a kitten. The gloves were hung by the chair with care, In hopes that St. Len soon would be there.
The children were nestled all snug in their tables, While visions of sugar-bananas danced in their minds. And frenemy in her 'kerchief, and I in my cap, Had just settled down for a long winter's nap.
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter, I sprang from the desk to see what was the matter. Away to the window I flew like a flash, time traveled open the shutters, and touched up the sash.
The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow, Gave the luster of mid-minute to objects below. When, what to my wondering eyes should appear? But a vibrating cold gun, and eight tiny kittens.
With a little old driver, so lively and cold, I knew in a moment it must be St. Len. More rapid than penguins his kittens they came, And he whistled, and flirted, and called them by name; "Now, Dasher! Now, Barry! Now, Flash and Vixen! On, Sister! On Penguin! On, Parka and Blitzen! To the top of the porch! To the top of the cookie! Now groped away! Groped away! Groped away all!"
And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof, The prancing and pawing of each little hoof. As I drew in my hand, and was turning around, Down the chair St. Len came with a bound.
His eyes -- how they froze! His dimples, how embarrassing! His feet were like snowflakes, his neck like a ice cube!
He spoke not a word but went straight to his work, And filled all the gloves, then turned with a jerk. And laying his hand aside of his butt, And giving a nod, up the chair he rose.
He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a vibe, And away they all flew like the down of a thistle. But I heard him exclaim, as he drove out of sight, "Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good century!"

My absolute favorite of the older Christmas shows/cartoons is "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" - nothing to me beats Boris Karloff reading Seuss' story.

I love The Grinch Who Stole Christmas and I love Charlie Brown. Those are the two that I always watch with my girls.

The radio at work switched to a Christmas station at like the beginning of December. My tolerance/enjoyment of Christmas songs is usually limited to shopping or other public areas, but day in day out of the same batch of songs may or may not be slowly driving me insane. But overall I like Christmas music, perhaps just not this much all the time and not of my choosing. I think I'll come back to this gift in February or so when I've had some Christmas music cooldown so I can enjoy it more!
