Chook sees with silverlunarfox and begins to make her way over to them thru the crowd.

We are all on equal ground here, except when competing at Quidditch and house points of course! ;) you look lovely (the flesh toned skin takes some getting used to!) I love the rolling Ginger hair! You posted a different picture in the wizarding contest. I think they meant for the one you posted here to also be in the contest (link here)

MG talks to Mae () and excitedly! "This is awesome, we can have our own little study group, i would love to hear about that trip!" MG never had many friends so this was overwhelming for her but exciting, best first year ever!
"Sure , I'll be glad to share what I know and I love to learn new things!" Mae smilled widely, she loves talking about what she knows and learn more, no wonder the Sorting Hat chose Ravenclaw. ", you're a Gryffindor right?"
Goldy smiled a little, "Well then, you're pretty good at making things up as you go. I've never heard this song before, it would be awkward to try to dance to it solo though as well." she responded with a smile. She didn't mind dancing with him, it was nice to not have to lead in a dance, it gave her more time to watch the others dance. Some of them were very good, a few would probably have sore feet in the morning from being stepped on.
Rox listened to Mae's story. I'd love to hear more about Beauxbâtons, as I know so little about it, we shoulf find a moment to talk about this. And yes I'm indeed a proud Gryffindor" she said with a smile to Mae ().
Then she heard MG () say that they should form a study group. "That would be perfect, I'm sure we all know things others might not. "I'm sure that I can find some others that might be interested in joining our group too. They might also like to learn more about the magic schools".
She turns around to Rowan that's still standing by. I'm sure that you would like to join us too, right?" ()
Rox notices that Judy has found her way over to them. Rox greets her. "How are you doing?" she asks her. "You're looking gorgeous today, your outfit is perfect for the ball. We we're just talking about forming a study group to talk about the magic schools and who knows we might even talk about the professors too. Maybe you want to join us too?". ().
She had also heard the last sentence that was said by the girl Judy took with her. Rox recognized her as Silver (). "We won't mind that, as we also have another ravenclaw with us today" she answered her question, waving towards Mae.
She also notices . She greets her. "You look lovely" she said with a smile.
Rox turns towards the stage again, she had hoped the band would have played one of her favorite songs. She wonders if they might take requests and if she should go over to them.
Rox turns away from the stage again, distracted by something. Then she remembers it was Mae () asking her a question. "I've played Quidditch at home with my father and with friends. I love playing it, so I'm really hoping to make it on the team" she says. "I also love watching the games and read and talk about the game".
" sorry I distracted you, did you follow the 2014 World Cup? Ginny Potter's reviews were awesome!"
(). "Oh, don't worry about that" Rox said. "I was only wondering whether to go and ask for a request from the band, that's all". "I did follow the world cup indeed. How can I not, my father dragged me into it, he loves quidditch a lot and it's because of him that I love the game so much too".
"It's cool your father is so dedicated to share his passion for Quidditch with you! When you sy drag, do you mean you actually went there and saw a match?"
(). "My father has been part of Gryffindor too, he played for the team at Hogwarts himself too. So he really hopes I will make it in too, to keep that tradition going. And yes, we went and saw a match. We would have gone to more matches if my father had been able to get more tickets, but unfortunately we only got tickets for one, but it was still great".
"I am so glad you agree to the study group! I think it is fantastic for Rowan () and Judy () to join as well! This well be so fun!" MG looks around the room and realizes the ball is ending soon. MG turns to Rox "I think you should make a request before the ball is over, you may never know! Perhaps a slow song for some young couples i see on the dancefloor!" MG turns to the stage, really happy she was able to introduce Mae () to Rox.
Max followed Elune to the dinner platform. He started to fill his plate and then sat next to Elune who was waving at a friend. He yawned a bit dancing was exhausting. He turned to Elune and asked. "How are you enjoying your classes so far ??"

MG ( ) & I would love to join a study group! My assignments have been in arrears, so disorganized. Rox, thanks, you look gorgeous yourself! Maybe Silver () and would like to join in the studies. Maybe we can start a line dance, we seem to me many more girls here than boys. where are you, I would love if you would come dance.
Veta took a tentative sip, then shook her head as if to rid herself of the taste. "Bitter indeed! Not completely terrible, but I definitely won't drink it again. Here, have some Pumpkin Juice instead. It's much better." She offered Akela a cup, grabbing another one for herself to replace the offending bitter whatever-it-was.
See, not so scary; just another person who prefers dimly-lit areas, Thana thought, settling into her seat.
"Oh," Thana expressed in interest as the shadowy figure mentioned their fathers' connection with the wizard bank.
Pure blood? she wondered to herself, nervousness forgotten as she slipped into the familiar and taught routine of identification. For Thana at least, this was more a matter of social grace and etiquette. Knowing a persons' blood status allows an educated guess of family, which - with proper use of background knowledge of wizarding families - could help build social ties. Although I suppose the family probably hides manipulation under the guise of social prowess, more often than not.
Thana snapped back to attention as her new companion spoke their name. "," she repeated with a polite smile, "That's a lovely name. A pleasure to meet you, Turokai."
I can't place that name with a family, she concluded, hoping they wouldn't be the type to get offended.
Blinking away the glare from the freshly-lit orb, she extended a hand to Turokai for formal greeting. "Athanasia," she said, wincing as her full forename automatically rolled from her tongue, "But, please - I don't really..just.. I prefer only 'Thana'. If you will."
Thana flailed for a topic to distract from her foolish stuttering. "A butterbeer would be very welcome. Thank you," she responded after a moment, wondering who she had angered to become so cursed with social ineptitude.
"So..your father -" she began, about to enter the dark and miserable realm of 'adult conversation', when she suddenly recalled what Turokai had said. Thana raised her eyebrows as it sunk in. "Your father can speak Gobbledegook?" she exclaimed, becoming more animated, less formal, as genuine interest washed over her. "That's amazing! Who taught him?"
"Thana. Pleased t'meetcha too. You can call me Turo, most folks do. I guess my pop must of really wanted a boy. Ma gave in, I think she thought it was a wizard thing." After pleasantries were exchanged, Turokai's pasted on an "appropriate smile" and prepared for a deluge of talk about Quidditch teams she hardly knew, when Thana actually asked about Goblins. Turo's smile widened into a heartfelt grin. A topic of conversation that she could handle! "Oh, pa pretty much taught himself. His folks lived way out in the boonies, and their nearest neighbors were a cave of goblins. He tracked down a Gobbldygook copy of Miranda Goshawk's Book of Spells, and was able to learn a few phrases by comparing it to his regular copy. Once they realized that he respected them, and was serious about enjoying their company, the goblins themselves taught him the rest." She self consciously ran a hand through the mess that her hair had become. "Oh glob. Tell me I don't have little pumpkins growing out of my head...."
" lucky you! This must have been great. I like Quidditch but I'm not sure I would have liked to be out there in with the crowd and what happened at the opening ceremony! What a mess."
Mae turned towards
"Thank you for making me stay, it was very nice. I'm glad I met people like you both!"
