Vin gladly accepted her hand, leading both of them to the dance floor. He waited only a short with before Aurora began her song. With only the slightest of hesitation, he looked to Goldy with a smile and began to dance to the sound of Y.S.M.C. He wasn't really a great dancer when it came to a jazzy song like this, but he certainly wasn't inexperienced with it. A few others had took to the dance floor, but yet still Vin and Goldy were the only really noticeable ones there.
A Horns & Roses fan!
Rox notices how MG () tries to keep an eye on her, she must have noticed that she was planning on doing some things. She whispered to her that she believed the punch didn't fit in with the celestial theme of the ball and she was thinking of way to change it and then asked her if she had any thoughts on it.
She was chatting with MG when she heard how Aurora was trying to get the attention from everyone. She continued her chat, but tried to listen to her at the same time. When she heard the first moments of the song, she realized that she indeed knew this old song, it was a favorite of her mother.
MG converses with and agrees the punch needs to be celestial! She must admit she thought rox wanted to spike the punch! Good thing it is just to add a dash of colour. MG read in a book somewhere that to add colour to something it was a simple charm. "Colour-fly Sparkle-shy, that should do it rox, did you bing your wand?" MG says. As they are chatting she also hears the song knows it as well. What a great ball, her voice is magical!
Rox listens closely to MG. At the moment she starts to name the spell, Rox remembers reading something about that spell. She tries to walk towards the table with refreshments as she normally would, hoping no one will understand what she's about to do. There she sees if someone is watching her, but it seems everyone is busy chatting or dancing. She pulls out her wand and starts to whisper the charm ""Colour-fly Sparkle-shy", she points her wand to the bowl of punch and she sees how it changes color to a blue-purple celestial theme. "That's much better" she says with a grin. Then she starts to walk back towards her friends, hoping that no one saw her do that.
Judy walks in to the hall, eyes open wide in amazement at how wonderful the people and all the decorations look. A little sad that she is so late and all her friends are scattered around, Judy shyly stands some distance from the dance floor, trying to get her bearings. "Everything is so beautiful" she says with a sigh. Blinking quickly, she tries not to cry. She has never worn mascara before and she doesn't want it to run.
Max closed his eyes for a moment. Maybe he had been too brash. "Sorry, he said softly extending his hand, my name is Max and I am in Slytherin."
"Actually I am really confused they don´t have electricity around here I need it to charge my phone." Max wasn´t sure if Elune knew what a phone was and why he needed it. "I came here alone I wanted to come with 2 friends but they´re both ill."

She had never heard of phones before. She wondered if that was anything like the music machine Rin had. "I'm pretty sure there are complex magical barriers that stop muggle gadgets like that from working." She frowned. "Maybe Professor Brookvale would have some answers though, seeing as she's head of muggle studies."
She paused then continued, "I'm sorry about your friends. I'm sure that's tough on them, being sick during the ball."
She suddenly realized how thirsty she was from yelling over the loud music. She asked Max and Rin if they'd like a drink, then she walked toward the stand to grab some punch that had curiously turned blue. She laughed as she noticed hide her wand a little too suspiciously. Then, she squeezed by to fill her glass.
As she searched for an empty seat, she spotted Mae across the room and waved.

Max nodded. "Maybe I´ll ask the professor about it thanks for mentioning it." He smiled at her and then asked "Did you come here with someone or are you just here with some friends ??"

Mae waved back to and stopped on her way to the exit, chances that Peeves was still lurking in the corridors were high. Staying was safer, she leaned against the wall and observed the people dancing and chatting. Amazing the interhouse relations, much better than what she'd been told of Hogwarts decades ago, she would need to reread that part of "Hogwarts: a History". Maybe would like to discuss it at some point?
MG is happy with , she did the charm perfectly! She decides to wave Mae () over and introduce the two. MG says "I would love to discuss the history of hogwarts with you, the history behind it all is fascinating. Mae this is my friend Rox we have known each other since the beginning of the term!" Mg is more than excited to have her favorite friends here, she is a little shy at first but everyone is so nice she came out of her shell a bit! "Oh and Mae, if you ever feel like you need a break from the ball i would be happy to join you." MG smiles.
Akela smiled half heartidly at the girl who had spoken. "But you're so stunning and I'm just... here. I love the colors you have on. So pretty and elegant. I feel like I look as though I should be on stage, not on the floor." She giggled a little and looked at the girl. "My name is Akela Black. I'm from Gryffindor.
"Veta Rey, from Ravenclaw. And what's wrong with being on a stage? You look wonderful! And I can imagine that your outfit was made for dancing and fun. I, on the other hand, am a shining example of cosmetic spells gone awry. If I attempt anything faster than a slow waltz, I'd probably lose half of these flowers!" She motioned at the small trail of petals behind her as evidence.
Akela looked behind Veta and saw the trail of petals leading from the entrance. "Oh, well it was a very beautiful attempt." She smiled "And I suppose mine would be comfortable for dancing." She looked down at the plain black fabric and swayed from side to side, watching the hardly noticeable frills ruffle over one another.
"Phones are the devices muggles use to contact each other. Instantaneous auditory communication." Rin explained. "And, unfortunately, unusable in Hogwarts."
"I noticed, Max said a bit annoyed, I can´t even listen to my music." He really should have brought some batteries and a CD player. Then he asked Rin "Do you need electricity for your phone too or are you just annoyed there isn´t any electricity around here ??"

Goldy trailed after Vin onto the dance floor. As he started to lead she smiled in return, he was a good dancer, "For being unsure about all this you seem to be doing a pretty good job." she teased. The music wasn't familiar to her, but it seemed to be a good one anyway.
While Rox walks back over to MG () she notices how Judy () enters the Hall. She seems to be very shy and unsure what to so. She waves at her, trying to make clear that she could come over to her and the other Gryffs. Rox also notices that Judy has picked a gorgeous dress for the event.
She then turns herself to MG, who seems to be chatting to another girl Rox hadn't seen before. MG introduces her as Mae (). "Hello" she says, after the introduction is over. "Don't you think this ball is great!" she says excited. Then she remembers she heard MG saying that they were going to discuss the history of Hogwarts. "Can I join you two?" she asks. "I would love to learn more about Hogwarts".
Silver notices that judy has entered and decides to walk over to greet her :)
"See? Look at that movement!" She clapped gleefully.
"And thank you. If someone at least enjoys my dress, then the work was worthwhile. Even if I will never, ever do it again. The mark of a Ravenclaw, I suppose! Reading about a new spell, indulging in curiosity and trying it without any forethought, and then learning from the inevitable mistakes."
