I didn't mind the cost of the Mathis items, because that's the price you pay if you want to participate and your pet's not doing much damage. I just wish there would have been a way to know the progress against the battle opponent even if you weren't battling, so you could judge whether you had the time to spend asking for different items, or whether it was worth it to get the fire items to speed things up because it was getting close to a win.

It's like there were two parallel choices, but no clue as to how they connected, if that makes any sense.

If Mathis was too expensive then you could always stop. Tbh I dont know if you could do enough Mathis to get the sort of prizes actually battling with a well trained pet will get. Im glad they told us how much damage would get sent to the battlefield because in the time it would take me to get all the stuff with mathis done I would've done triple battling.

Little sympathy here considering how much I've spent training a battle pet and getting weaps. I do feel bad for the higher tier battlers though. At T7 and 732 battles I spent 2,281,644 sp on healing. My condolences to the higher tier battlers :c

I admit I was a little peeved at how expensive the weapon forging was until I read someone pointing how how much it costs to train and equip a battle pet to do that kind of damage.

Let's not get into how much that Shinwas Temple Shard cost me to ensure I was able to freeze Kiyo every time so I could make sure I got damage in... (The good news is now I don't have to save up in the Crystal Shop anymore.)
