Beth looks at the girl( ) carrying a snake around her neck. "Hi. I'm Beth."

"Well my parents were worried early on since I wasn't really showing any signs of magic, but my mom did notice strange behaviors like helping animals and growing plants that seemed to complicated for my age. They thought I just inherit my grans green thumb until one of the plants started growing pink and purple leaves. My dad figured I had something to do with it since he hadn't done it. I had to watch my temper at times in muggle school though; leaves weren't the only thing I would turn pink or purple" giggles "Mom says I have always had a bubbly personality! I never got to ride a broom though, did you?"

"Nah. I mean, some snakes eat other snakes, but not Wade here. He eats mice for the most part. Lizards and birds if he can get 'em." She said to . "And I can't believe you asked me if I wanted pumpkin juice! The answer to that question is always yes!" She held out both hands and made a 'gimme' gesture. Then for good measure, added "Gimme!"

It was after this astounding display of ladylike behavior that she registered the owner of the baby griffin's introduction. Ethel clasped her hands on her lap and gave () Beth a friendly smile (well, she hoped it came across as friendly anyway! Facial expressions were tricksy things). "Oh hello, Beth! It's nice to meet you. I'm Ethel. Ethel Qwen. Is that a griffin? He's gorgeous! How old is he? What's his name? What does he like to eat? Oooh, does he like to cuddle at night time? That sounds wonderful"

To her mortification she realized that she hadn't introduced herself proper-like to the room at large, so repeated. "I'm Ethel!" Having rectified her lapse, she settled back and waited for her pumpkin juice (and Beth's answer! She wanted to hear about broom escapades.)

Gaia grins at Ethel "Erm, yes I do not carry dead animals in my bad, sorry Wade, at least he gets along with Ares. You know they went hunting together last night or at least it is what I think happened!" hands some juice. "Did you have any experience with magic growing up?"

"He's almost two months old. His name is Moony and he definitely likes to cuddle. He doesn't like sleeping by himself."

"I've never ridden a broomstick either. My sister Lyn () is dying to ride one."

"Aren't we all!?!?! I really hope I can try out and make the team for Beater this year! I think I was born to fly!" Scoops Moony up and give him a cuddle. "We could fly together, right Moony?" One her shoulder Ares nibbles her ear impatiently. Gaia hands Ares some owl nugget treats.

"Of course! Dad is a huge fan of that one guy... Krum. I really can't see why he came out of retirement, but he is alright. A Chaser is a fun position as well! I think the key to any team success is trust and friendship among the members. After all we have to watch each others backs!"

"Nope, my dad went to the magic school in the US, but we moved here about 7 years ago. He didn't play anything" rolls eyes "You know my dad might have been professor Nico's best friend if they had known each other! My dad was more of a laid back type of person. He used to play the guitar all the time in school. From what his friends tell me he wasn't popular, yet everyone knew him. My dad is the cool one, everyone loves him, my mom is the strict one that worries too much. Do you have family that have been on a team? I think that would be so cool!"

Ethel listened gamely as Beth and Gaia talked Quidditch. She wasn't big on sportsing, but she did enjoy attending sports events, especially if her friends were playing.

"Here here!" she cheered to 's teamwork talk. "And encouraging each other! Oh, also learning how to share a bathroom without murdering each other." That last bit of sage advice might have come from growing up in a house with many sisters and one loo.

When Gaia scooped up Moony and fed him treats, she took the opportunity to give him a little scritch behind his ears. "He's so cute! And little! I bet he gets into mischief like a kitten does. Lotsa jumping and running around." This last she directed at with a scrunch-nosed grin.

Gaia spits some of her juice with Ethel sage advice. Laughs out loud "I didn't even think of that! Well we at least have all the loos in the castle." Gaia said while still laughing and cleaning the mess she just made. Moony scampered from her arms getting away from the unwanted showered.

My mom studied in Brazil. Quidditch is not very popular over there. My dad played Quidditch during his time at Durmstrang. He was team Keeper."

"He is mischievous at times. He's a little prankster."

"Your dad knew Krum? That is really awesome!!"

"Must be fun to know a celebrity!" Sits on floor and plays with Chase, Moony, and Luna throwing the ball of yarn.

"Me? Big Thing?!?! Well I am certainly peculiar and a bit out there but I rather help people and have a shop to help the next generation!.. erm, I mean," Gaia gets flustered from getting carried away. "Sorry I did it again."

Gaia seems to be in a trance at beth's words... "YOU THINK SO?" She continues to ponder.
