Amanda looks at the box of bertie botts nervously. She's had some bad experiences with them before! Once she swears she got a fish food flavored one that she had picked for it's innocent orange color. This time she timidly reached in and picked out a bright blue bean. She tossed it in to her mouth, hoping for the best. To her delight it was a cotton candy flavored bean, and she savored it. She peeked in to the box again wondering if she should risk another one.

"Amanda you should try the white looking one! It could be coconut, sardine, or soap!" These are so much fun." Pops another bean in her mouth... " EEEEEEKKK spits it on to hand That was rotten egg and NOT Pop Corn!" Gaia walks away to find some pumpkin juice.

Amanda looks nervously at the white bean that Gaia had suggested. It seemed to have some small paler white specks in it. She tried to sniff it, but there was no scent. She gave her friends a funny look and popped it in to her mouth and chewed. "Aaaaghh! No!!" Spitting the bean back out into her hand, she looked around for a drink with her eyes watering. She giggled a little and said, "Salt." She got up and followed Gaia to try and find a drink, her eyes still watering.

"Amanda I think on our next trip to Hogsmeade we should get some safer candy. I am dying for an acid pop and sugar quill! I am also missing some of the famous wizard cards. hands Pumpkin Juice to Amanda and brings extra for the others in the Common room

Amanda happily chugs the pumpkin juice and nods enthusiastically at Gaia's suggestion about getting safer candy. After swallowing she says, "My favorite is Fizzing Whizbees! We should definitely get some of those." She pauses and then adds, "I wonder when our first trip to Hogsmeade will be!"

"I forgot Fizzing Whizbees@ YUM now I want some chocolate." starts looking in her bag "I am running low on my studying candy I need to stock up again. You know Herbology is so interesting; I ate a whole chocolate frog while reading before I realized it was gone and I had finished the chapter on proper use of pots and dirt."

"You have to be careful with Whizbees. Last week, while I was floating after eating one, my cat Luna ran through and made me fall down! I healed the scrape I got with the Whomping Willow sap during Herbology, luckily."

pets Luna "She is adorable! I have Ares the snowy owl. I LOVE owls! But you are right we got really lucky on our Herbology class and your scrape. Growing up with a muggle mom there were times I had to heal the muggle way. Scabs are the worst they itch a lot."
