There was a quiet yelp of surprise from beneath Beth's chair and a moment later a sleek-furred fox squirmed out from the small space underneath, now smaller from the added weight of a person. Her jaws stretched wide in a yawn that ended in a snuffle and she gave her body a quick shake, like a dog. Smacking her jaws, the fox suddenly sniffed at the air then reared up onto her hind paws, placing her forepaws and chin on the arm of the chair, and stared intently at the plate of food.

Roman hovered in front of the Ravenclaw statue and waited for the riddle. Even though he could simply bypass the riddle and travel through the door and into the common room, he remained insistent on being as inconspicuously Ravenclaw as possible. He shouted his answer, "Murlocks," then floated up the steps. He glided over a lone chair in the corner and glared broodingly into the hearth. It had already been two years since his death day, but he still longed to feel things such as warmth from the fire.
His eyes darted to the red fox who was snuggling under a chair. He rolled his eyes and grimaced at its cuteness. Have headmasters no discernment over pets anymore?

"UGH!"
Gaia was so focused on her thoughts that she almost fell walking into the common room. She thought she saw a ghost giving an answer to the riddle and she hurry to catch the door while open. So many books to carry. The beginning of term is always a time for reading all the books, Gaia thought to herself.
"Hello everyone!" Gaia started for the stairs and she saw it again... "Erm, () excuse me, you are a ghost!" Gaia blushed at her thought escaped her mouth and her hands weren't fast enough to stop her making her books go everywhere. "I am so sorry! The only ghost I have ever seen are the ones here and well that one ghost in the woods behind my house, but never really been so close to one." Then she bent down to grab her books. This term was going to be great.
(HAHAHAHHAH :D :D Thanks! I was hoping for this one though metamorph would've been really fun, too.)
The fox's eyes flicked towards the ghost for a moment and its hackles began to rise instinctively before smoothing back down as she returned her attention to the plate of food.
