We have a bit of a crisis here with some of our players, who have been devoted to their teams for the adventure to this point, but who are now literally "dropping in their tracks" from illness (most "popular"), work, or family crisis. Naturally, they remain on your teams until they get back, and definitely are eligible to visit the Squirrel's Bounty. No one wants them not to be here, including the folks themselves.

So, the chapter thread has been conveniently updated with a dreadful curse of a "deathstorm" send by the Unseelie and disguised as a BorderFever sandstorm. If you have a member who needs to be a "victim" of this curse and spend some time in Ms. Miranda's backroom ward, please let me know. I'll add them by character name if they're not using their Subeta handle.

Any character in the recovery ward won't need to be written into the RP, or dress for the HA contest, or do anything but get better. Team scores will not be penalized in ANY way for a character "in hospital."

This should help us all out, including the folks who are feeling awful at not being able to do more.

: Glitter is out of hospital and is recovering a bit slower then she was led to believe. She's been back to the physicians office twice now for follow up and she's making progress. She's not been able to sit at her desk and write though. She dictated her last RP to me and I wrote it out for her and I'll help her out with the next one too if needs be. If we are not able to work it out, we';; take advantage of your offer to have her character Dace fall under the curse of the illness and recuperate in Ms Miranda's A and E ward. I am finally over my bronchitis / pneumonitis and gaining strength. Being outside, out in my garden and going on little fishing expeditions with Dannygyrrl has helped brighten my spirits. Being cooped up inside the house was the pits. I am a healer and unfortunately, healers often make the worst patients. Not because we whine so much ( Welly says I don't whine...but I do a lot of whimpering and sighing ), as much as we are non-compliant about staying in bed. I want to get up and be useful and help out. Large quantities of cough syrup ( I think Welly spiked my cough syrup ) went a long way to making me much more compliant. Is cough syrup supposed to taste like Kahlua?

I don´t think people do it on suppose, hunnie! ^-^ It happened to me once also some weeks ago when I forgot to delete the WS ping out of the quote. I was really ashamed and I think this happens only because we are so enthusiastic and copy and paste the new informations so fast, LOL. Sending big hugs and aloha to all of you!

It was an accident, accidents happen. Three years of copying and pasting WS posts and this is the first time I've accidentally pinged the group. Honestly though, taking 2 seconds to clear an event is not a big problem (at least not for me).. if I see a WS ping from someone other than GreenRowan I just delete it. Not trying to start anything, but don't you think pinging all of WS to tell them you're annoyed with people accidentally pinging WS is a bit... counter-productive?

Why would I do it on purpose? Makes no sense at all. Anyway.. takes a small slice of cake and puts some punch on the table for others

I've gotten a few ws pings from others today, but I simply remove them. I know that they're on accident and not intentional. However I believe that complaints should be voiced towards the person in charge of the ping group and not the group itself and I'm sure if it was something being done maliciously Rowan would rain down fire on their head lol.
