40+ pets sounds like a lot until you figure them all out and get characters and ideas established... and then suddenly there's another name you want that's clearing soon or UFA. Or another character idea, or another new color/species that doesn't fit anything you have but it's just SO FLAWLESS because our art staff is disgustingly talented and you need it in your life.

And your only choice is to go without that name/pet/idea, or replace one of your babies. And that sucks. 8(

Pets are terrible in that they're addictive - the more you have, the more you want. Which is evident by the fact that most people who are maxed out on buying extra slots are throwing themselves at staff's feet, waving their paychecks around and screaming 'WHY DON'T YOU WANT MY MONEY, KEITH?'

I fell in love with basic recolors of the Irion lately, so I got 12 out of the 14 recolors, excluding the common and nuclear because I wanted a cool rainbow, telling myself that I can make the story of a gang that's color coded.

The day after, the Ontra revamp happened. So, naturally, I'd have wanted to have a full rainbow of Ontras to counterbalance, probably either a rival gang or a bunch of superheroes, but I can't

I do have 47 slots, and I'd gladly, gladly pay money to get more. I'd sacrifice my precious Spartan Teddy for more slots. I would clean Keith's underpants for the next ten years for more slots.

"Hope is a dangerous thing" really applies here since I started to get into my next pet idea/name after seeing Keith's post. And Now, I'm kinda wishing to see a certain news update in the next minute or so...I'm pretty much ruined until we get that update xD.

Yeah with Rah saying to keep an eye out for the rest of the month and keith his "soon" = I think we can conclude they actually mean soon. Plus Rah is a pet person, she wouldn't play with our feelings.

I really need more pets because I get inspiration everywhere and then I get on subeta and find this perfect name that fits my idea and there are no slots left and i'm clawing at my screen and thinking: maybe i should change that pet, oh wait no that pet is this and that and god no I can't change my baby. The struggle.

Wardrobe people get endless options and have zero cap at anything they do except for the amount of layers. It sucks to be a pet person instead of a wardrobe person.

Most of my pets are hidden rn because I am terribly slow at working on them but-- I have 44 pets and that is not enough. I've been constantly going over my pets for the past few months, it feels like, trying to keep up with all the amazing new artwork and change pets according to how desperately I want new releases, and at this point only 2 of my pets have undefined characters (and even then I have ideas for them, I just haven't fleshed them out too well yet!) I kind of dread 100% figuring out characters for everyone because what if a new pet comes out that I love and am immediately inspired for but then I'd need to change someone and... ;_;

I actually really like what Andrea had been saying haha, about less of a 'here you can go buy 5 pet slots now and that's it : D' and more giving us the option for x number per year. Getting my loyalty box is kind of like a religious holiday for me, I always count down for it (7:30ish PM on April 26th!!) and get SO excited, but it's also kind of frustrating to only get one new pet per year unless staff decides to be generous lol. I mean, the artists come out with so many beautiful pets, and basically we only get to pick one new one a year, and otherwise have to change around our already existing pets :c

These forever. I joined this site before human avatars even existed, and I joined for the pets. 7 years later I have 40+ pets. I play with my wardrobe but if I never had one or could trade mine for infinite pet slots or something (lol) I'd be fine. There's torrents upon torrents of wearables being released constantly, which is never a problem because the wardrobe is infinite and you can have everything you could ever want.

Pet people don't get that luxury.

Yeah 44 pets sounds like an insane amount, but again, I've been on this site for 7 years. I've been developing characters for 7 years. I've let some go, but some I won't. I still have my first pet ever - Ayare. Pets can't be exchanged out as easily as HA outfits can be changed, emotions-wise....

In all seriousness, Summer is probably the best moment for me to spend because I have no annoying holidays and birthdays getting in the way.

I want to support Subeta, but this reward card is the FIRST ONE I MANAGED TO GET TO MAX, and it's because I got CSC to preplan for slots, because I was 22$ short.

Plus, I'll stop complaining for X months, X being the number of slots we can buy with the CSC. You know you want me to stop complaining about trivial things ;)

Haha, totally! There's a bunch of grumpy old ladies wanting to spend on subeta!

Personally, I'm not motivated to spend real cash on CSC unless it's for pets. I kind of spent a little on CSC each month for a while. But those CSC just piled up to a point that I stopped even spending a little each month. I also started to buy CW for TCs recently, but it's really not as satisfying as getting more pets. So yep, more CSC pet slots would definitely motivate me again.
