Even more yes if it's a group effort to get a free pet slot for everyone participating, like the quest-marathon or something that was suggested on another topic waaaaaaaaay back.

I never have and never will say no to a pet slot increase at face value.

Depending entirely on what staff would want to do in terms of yearly or whenever they want from time to time I would prefer the ability to buy x more per year than give them to me now then waiting in woe for an unknown period of time. Then at least we all will know every year we can buy x and these boards won't crop up (and end with yeeaah we just got note/disappointment/false hope) because we always can buy x more every year.

And hey, if the number can go up so be it if not at least I'd have two things to always look forward to (that +LB).

I've always felt like limiting the number of pet slots one can have would be like limiting how many CWs someone can submit. Individual pets aren't really a strain on the server, it's not like every single user is on every single pet page at every waking hour pressing buttons and making queries on the database. And at the same time - it could be an amazing stream of revenue. Why can't people just have infinite pets ?

I really like this idea; having an automatic increase issued at the start of the year or on Subeta's anniversary or something seems like a reasonable solution to having people constantly beg for more.

I'm sure everyone would agree that loyalty boxes are fantastic, but sometimes I feel a bit like a five-year-old waiting for Christmas. I obviously can't see the numbers, but with all the new pets/experiments/colors, daily clearings, and the cheaper cost of pet slots, it seems more likely that people are going to be maxing out faster than they were years ago when LBs were introduced.

That definitely sounds like a great idea! I tend to be terrible with loyalty boxes - I got mine in September last year, got a new pet the same day, and by the beginning of October, had already worked out an idea for my next pet.... 😊 's idea of it being on Subeta's anniversary would be perfect :D

Seeing as Keith has been actively working through the suggestions list over the weekend (hands him some coffee after all that programming) I'm hopeful that an increase to the number of pet slots will be next! :D

....whether it's purchased slots (my personal preference, as it generates more CSC which then supports the site), or free slots / "complete these task" slots.... any slots are good nods

I would be consumed with rage if this were the case. I doubt Subeta would do something like that, though, since the Spotlight has been a source of discontent lately. Ihopeanyway. .__.;

Adding a slot for the spotlight wouldn't make this user-friendly AT ALL, and the entire point of my suggestion is HAVE SUBETA BE MORE USER-FRIENDLY FOR PET LOVERS IN GENERAL. And, loving your pet can be something totally different than liking the pet spotlight.

I liked the suggestion (OR WAS IT I ALWAYS CONFUSE THE SCOURGE SISTERS) had, and I especially like the achievement chosen for potential rewards. Nothing is impossible, everything is pet-related and I liked the diversity.
