god forbid people try to achieve something without it awarding a +1 to their achievement count anymore

I was waiting for this XDD Every time.
We started working with this flagging system to make it easy for non-programmers to turn features on (and change things) but it also just means that it's super easy for me to accidentally turn on a feature if I change it's flag :(
Any change in achievements for hoarding will be announced in advance of the changes :)

this is obviously how keith gets quick feedback and not really a mistake
"oops, pushed X important game breaking feature on accident AGAIN dem flags"

Aw that explains it ;w; (it's still really predictable though ;P )
what feedback would I be looking for here? :P

anything, general reaction to the feature, amount of items to be limited to, instasuggestions and comments. then you can just go "pushed by accident, all that planned already" and release it as it was scheduled, "soon".

Get ready for MUH VENDING QQ YOU RUINED MY SUBETA EXPERIENCE I CAN'T VEND EVERYTHING FOR WEEKS AND THROW IT ALL IN MY SHOP NOW.
For once, I'm not even mad.
I usually like to build up 3-4k items in my shop at a time before autopricing so I'm glad the limit isn't actually going to be 2,500. That's a bummer for vending cause it would fill up the shop super quickly along with questing prizes. 7,500 I can work with definitely. I'm just glad this was an accident and not supposed to come out yet.
I honestly hope shops DON'T have a limit of only 2500 items...some shops sell way more items than that! So what, we're going to have to be forced to keep things in our vault and painstakingly take them out little by little to sell them? Not cool at all. I've been worried about this in the back of my mind once this was first hinted upon. What about people who vend? In 5 days they'll hit that 2500 item limit. So how long would they be forced to wait before they can sell more?!? You can't even estimate or guesstimate the time depending on how fast or slow things sell. I have enough junk in my vault to have to sort through without having the pain of this being added onto me. I'm sure hundreds of players feel the same way and are in the exact same position. Putting such a limit on us like that isn't cool.
I'm glad that they're thinking about getting rid of the hoarding achievements. I found them dumb. It's a way of over-accumulating stuff just for kicks. I can understand if it's for an actual purpose (collection), but not "just because". I personally have over 450 Worry Dolls myself cuz it's the cutie-pie Oatmeal XD
(Psst! Keith, by the way - "It's only supposed to effect normal shops" - it should be "affect" not "effect" XD Biiig difference :P)

Interesting, so does that mean in the future one won't be able to flipflop between a shop and a gallery anymore? Since one won't be limited and the other won't, and galleries wouldn't be contributing to shop seachs anymore?
whether that changes in the future. who knows.
Oh yea, how will this influence the switching of a gallery to a shop... because I'm pretty sure once(lol if) I hit 45k I'm selling most of that off, and I really doubt I'm going to take everything out by hand to move it to a shop. Will this still be possible?
I hope this doesn't break shops that are already over that limit. :/
Mine has 16k unique items. I've been pricing it for several weeks to get that number down, but it probably won't be below the limit in time for this change.
Please test this thoroughly beforehand. There's way too much at stake for this to be another one of those "let's push this update and then bug test it over the course of the next six months" type changes. :(
If you start accidentally deleting items I'm going to rage quit so hard.

SAME. Don't really like the idea of slaving away after items/sP that are just gonna disappear because of something like this, probably with no chance of being returned. ;n;
Whoops! Sorry this wasn&;t meant to be implemented yet :) It&;s only supposed to effect normal shops (as we&;re splitting galleries into a separate feature) and shouldn&;t have been switched on at all. The flag got set.

Just changed it back, sorry :)!
I was waiting for this XDD Every time.
I said to myself, as I was lying down for a nap, I said - wonder how long it will be before he posts something along those lines XD
