Something about the eyes bothers me. I guess they're too... big and cutesy? I'm probably biased towards smaller eyes like some of the other pets have. Otherwise I like this revamp, the ears and extra fins added to the tail are nice touches.

[edit] I really like 's edit of the eyes here. It's a small change but makes a big difference for me.

Pleeeaasse don't give the Ontra round ears, the folded sea lion-ish ears make more sense. The slightly smaller eyes also look really good in the one edit floating through this thread. Other than that, this is a great revamp!nnI still laugh when I see users act so thoroughly disgusted and/or offended with updated art.

The revamp looks REALLY good! Much better than the original. :D

I never much thought of ontras, but I am really liking the cute little oh so innocent no I did not take the last piece of cake, honest! expression of that revamp ^.^

So much detail, such a cute pose - the head, the paws, the lil' ears - and such a cute expression! I'm loving the revamp!

i adore the new art as-is. i quite like the ears folded down, i think they look really cute. i don't mind the size of the eyes, but i suppose it wouldn't hurt to make them just a teeny tiny bit smaller.

My only suggestion would be to adjust the facial proportions of the Ontra. Its ears should be a touch more pronounced, and cheeks reduced from chipmunk-styled to that of an otter.

for as long as we've had the ontra, i've always thought how much better it'd look with ears. i was right, it looks way better with ears.

I said so in the news post already, but I think it looks great, aside from the folded ears, which I don't care for.

This new little guy is so adorable!

Those little ears are so cute and seem to add so much to the way it looks although they are just a small detail. The contrast in new eyes draws you in more than before, making them more effective. Also, the change in the shape of the nose suits the new face. The extra detail in the coloring brings the new revamp together beautifully. The only thing I'm a little unsure about would be the extra little fins on the tail but they still look very nice and don't hinder the revamp in any way. They seem to add something to the bare spot on the Ontra, which is its plain tail. The extra fins tend to balance the overall picture out because of the details in the head on the left side.

Overall, I love the new Ontra and I hope it gets the revamp!

I love this revamp. The only nit-pick I have is that I feel the eyes are too big. Love everything else, especially the tail.

Like other people have said, I think the eyes are way too big. Other than that, though, why is the tail so twisted around? Based on the shading, the markings, and the way it curves it looks like that's the back of the tail, but anatomically that's just... ???? Unlike the eyes it's not something that even registered until I really looked at it, though, so I could live with it as-is.

I really love the body, though!

No, you can't revamp it! I might actually have to get one! ;p

All joking aside, the revamp makes it a much more interesting pet. Only a few things I would change:

• Make the eyes just a little smaller
• Make the neck visible, because right now it doesn't look like it has one
• Remove the weird seem on its forehead

I also think the eyebrows are a bit strange. Eyebrows on something already covered in fur doesn't make much sense. If there must be something there to liven up the forehead, more spots might work? I know the old one had them too, but now that I've noticed them... :x

But besides that, it's lovely. Thank you for giving the poor thing ears. I've always thought ontras were really weird without them.
