Wrong thread...
Turns out the right thread is unviewable to me, so I'll put it here.

posted the following quote in my Saggi&;s sP rewards reduced?:
Quests are constantly being changed, you&;ll probably notice some difference today.
I honestly hope Saggi's profits/quests aren't being changed. He's the only really profitable quest on site. It'd be a really sad day if this happens. I've already been burned badly these past few days doing Saggi's quests. They were fine the way they are before this huge decrease in profits seemingly started happening since the start of this Quest-a-Thon :/ I've taken quite the losses and seemingly so have others in my thread :/

The short of it is that completing quests is an ongoing issue anyway, wrt supply restocked versus demand from quests. There's been a lot of problems occurring (which this thread's been a testament to) with shop stock. So if you're noticing a lot of items Sagg is asking for are higher than you're used to, that's probably a contribution--for example, very recently shops failed to stock ANY items for a significant period of time, and the effects of that are still being felt here and there.
I agree it's also likely that the huge quest-a-thon, as you and other users in your thread suspect, isn't helping matters either, depleting the supply already brought low (and prices already made higher) from the latest fiasco.

The shop stock issues have been persisting for some time once again. Restocking is sort of a joke right now, and giving the shops some time hasn't made much difference. A week has passed since the last tweaks, and shop stock is still pretty terrible and a waste of time to go through despite that items are supposed to start getting pulled again as they don't sell. I find that I'm spending less and less time onsite now since RSing was my biggest draw, and I'm finding it a less desirable place overall as it appears the trend is simply to push people into questing and posting on forums and to hell with anyone who wants to do other things or profit in other ways. Honestly, it feels like being pigeonholed. I get saying that these changes have been better for the site as a whole. If they truly have been then all right, but I'm not really seeing the sense behind that response to be totally honest. I don't see any proof backing that up and don't see much staff communication giving responses that back up that statement either. At this point, the RS situation is just really depressing.
I'd give suggestions in the attempt to create some form of balance here for restocking, but it appears based on Keith's most recent posts on this thread that he's sorta telling us that our complaints are basically falling on deaf ears now and that it's staying as is. So be it I suppose.
Question - what are you guys trying to restock? Because I'm not experiencing a lack at the moment at all. The opposite, in fact.
In the last three days, I've been as happy as a pig in a wallow. It's been fun and validating and worth the effort expended. There are items restocking and item values are up (mostly) and things are actually selling out of my store. Most importantly, I'm stumbling across SR's every once in a while (yay) and it's actually worth the time and effort to restock, for once.
Unless you're talking about what were were experiencing before the Quest-a-thon. That was dire and depressing.
That said, if the restocking situation returns to how it was before the Quest-A-Thon, then I'll be right there with you in disappointment. But right now it's pretty great.
I right in the wallow with you. Restocking has been wonderful for a few days now and I have no complaints at all. I have 9 good stores I refresh all the time. Then I rotate through the others. I spent about 2mil yesterday and had almost 11mil in the till this morning. I figure that is probably about middle of the road. I know some draw more and some less so am content with my profits.
Again, that just isn't true. I can't screenshot the whole page (or upload a gif of it scrolling because my home internet isn't great) but it's a few pages of items like this for restocked in the last 20 minutes for R60-85 items with value.
Remember that the quest-a-thon means that users will be buying from the shops via the shop search a lot more frequently, and there are probably more people watching the shops as well.

And R80+ items.

With still way more pages than that :)

I managed to get a bunch of high-tier rate from main shops earlier, I don't see a problem. I even got some from shop search without even being in the shop.
EDIT: Yeah I got one of these Cream Fake Kumos Tails that stocked earlier. I'm seeing it on the screenshot, but I def. got tw of these today

Is this you?
That's about my profit range, too. It's been absolutely wonderful. I have given the Book Nook a side eye for not restocking for 25 minutes, but other than that one time it's been pretty decent. I roam through a bunch of other stores as well and it's been pretty fun. We'll see how it goes once quest week is over, but in the meantime...high fives
HEY MY INSTAGRAM Yeah that's totes me Although maybe a little more wild-eyed and manic
I have no complaints of restocking since these last changes were pushed through at all. I'm only here to look at the little piggie!!!!! <3
LoL he is really cute. I'm the little piggy covered in mud that nobody wanted a pic of :(
Thanks for the information. It looks like others are having a good experience restocking as well, so I guess I've just had some really bad luck of late. My husband has been having the same difficult time RSing lately too, so I'll admit I kinda figured that is was still having a lot of problems based on what we've both experienced. Since others are having a good time though based on the posts that came in after mine today, and based on your screenshots too (thank you so much for sharing those - they're really helpful to put this into perspective), I think we're possibly just focusing on the wrong shops, not diversifying enough right now, and just experiencing a bout of being a little too late to grab the good stuff. Sorry if I misinterpreted some of your recent posts as well. Sounds like I might not have had the clearest picture in this case given my own recent RS experience and maybe read in a message that simply wasn't there. Thanks again for your upfront feedback and helping me to understand the situation a little better.
It's no problem :) What shops have you been sitting in? I've been trying tomake the system a little bit smarter over the past day or so in removing items as well, so maybe in a day or two stocking will be nicer for you!

Thanks for your understanding. Talk about some serious foot-in-mouth syndrome on my part. I actually spend the most time in Home Appliances of all places, which does have a massive stock supply. Most of the shops I haunt do have either really big or really small item pools to choose from, which sounds like that could maybe explain why I'm seeing more of an extreme end right now over what others have found. My husband tends to go to the same shops I do for the most part, so it also makes sense that our experience would mirror one another right now and not exactly be pairing up with others.
I think I get what you mean. Home Appliances is one of my go-to shops as well, and while I'm seeing some decent mid-level bread and butter items there, I'm not seeing super rares or some of my usual go-to high price items I'm used to seeing there. The SR's I've found were all in other stores. Not sure if it's just that I'm not fast enough or if they're just not restocking there.
I have noticed that while I'm finding things to buy and making a profit, in general, it's not from the usual items, and the profit mostly comes because there's inflated value this week - there's definitely a change in the item profile of the store, for lack of a better description. It will be very interesting to see what happens once this week is over.
Are some of these items supposed to be double-stocking? At first I thought I was imagining it, but I clearly picked up two Pop-Up Book of Heroic Tales, King Keiths Items, and Fun With History: Omen Islands in one round of Rsing just a couple minutes ago. Usually the higher rarities only stock one of each.
Anyone else noticed this?
Do you have a rare item that just won't sell? Are you going through the high levels of Item Hunt? Or maybe you just HATE that blue bunny? Then you should join IHH helpers and IHH bargain in the forum groups!
Now that you mention it, I did get 2 SRs from Half Baked earlier that were much too close together. I'll try to keep a better eye in case this is a thing.
Just to be clear - they all stocked with 2 copies at one time. I was fast enough and lucky enough to pick them all up. XD I know I spotted heroic tales first (I still need more to read to my pets) then the king keiths and then the omen islands. Let me know if you see other higher rarities stocking multiples though, I'm quite curious as to if that is intentional or a blip. =0)

You know, you're right. I thought it was odd to find not one but two Lilac Booster Packs in the shop about a half hour ago. I haven't seen any others that jumped out at me like that, but it may not be just you.
Yes. I got two of an item that should have only stocked one at a time. I got 2 Sands of Time from Spells Galore. (I originally said Half Baked, I got 2 Gummy Gums from there)
So, yes, I think that might be broken.
I started noticing this today as well as I stepped into some shops I haven't been in for a very long time. I nabbed some good stuff from Thimble & Co. in particular, and after a whole lot of shop stalking in the past couple of weeks I finally made out again at the Trading Card Center. Speaking of, , I can second you on the doubles too. I managed to nab two of the while I was in there and don't usually see booster packs stock more than one at a time. It's only an r86, but I still don't usually see them doubled up.
I agree it will be interesting to see how much item prices drop after the quest-a-thon has run it's course. I wonder how much the event is geared toward increasing item values following both mass purchases in conjunction with the RS changes that have been made? It seems like something that may have been implemented to help with increasing the sP value onsite since restockable item costs would likely need to increase in some capacity to fully accomplish this goal. It'll be interesting to see what happens over the next few weeks after all is said and done.
