I've been experiencing it since at least when I became an Admin (so longer than this weekend)...I think I was having it before that but I can't quite recall. I'm not sure if it's because my login name is different on SL and the SL Forums now or not (I have two different login names - the original one I had when I signed up for SL is still my login name for the SL forums, although my main SL login name now matches my subeta account name).

I'll let you know if it comes up again (I'd logged out and logged back in so it's working at the moment but I have no way to check until it goes wonky again haha).

I have deleted quite a few spam posts and banned their posters the past few days. If you could check in once in a while for those I would be appreciative.

O, ever since the change to the forums, the "Show unread posts since last visit" has not worked for me. Not crucial but if you have a minute to check it out some day...

Oh...I thought I was keeping on top of things and people were busy dancing and that's why I wasn't getting much in the way of "unread posts." I'm getting way too reliant on shortcuts and easy explanations.

I thought the same thing, lol. Then I realized when the icon on the main forum page is not faded out it means there is something new posted there.

I realize the event lists are created based on restocking location, but I was wondering if it was possible to create some based on notes? Like Fantine, Genetech and The Alchove?

sigh I've looked over the spammers we've gotten lately -- they're all accounts that were registered before we upgraded the forums. I have a feeling that 'professional' spammers registered lots of accounts with us and are using them sparingly, knowing that they'll get banned. We're seeing an increase in spamming right now because of the news from yesterday.

I'm pretty sure that the forum upgrade is doing a good job of stopping new spammers from registering. Making them answer a couple of Subeta-related questions isn't a step the automated bots are getting past.

One of the things I can work on is going through existing accounts and checking for obvious red flags (like, even though they haven't posted, their signature contains links to fake cialis websites) and do some judicious vetting.

I made some changes last night based on Reaper's feedback, but that miiiight have helped with that problem, too. I posted something to the staff blab room -- let me know if you're able to see it as an unread post.

I realize it is "old" spammers. I have it set to notify me whenever someone new registers for the forums and we have only had a handful do so since the upgrade. Don't kill yourself looking for them. Just watch for their dumb posts, please

Never had one of these, but I'd be miffed if I'd spent a bunch of sP and wizard tokens for a "guaranteed (but random!) experiment" and then had the pet be demoted.

I was able to make a news post today without having to jump through the log in/log out/try it all again a second time loop! So whatever you did to fix me up worked ❤️

[edit] I noticed this earlier, thought maybe I put in my pass wrong...but it's no longer grabbing the overlays for clothing/custom clothing when I add new items (even if I check the correct boxes and make sure my username and pass for here are set in). Not sure what is going on there. It was still working just fine when I added the round of cws that ended with the , but when I added today's approvals (and the new TS item again just now), it's no longer pulling them.

: That's odd -- it was working last night when I added the two new Tempest items. I'm wondering if Subeta's changed the overlay code on their end. I'll look into it and see if I can find out what's going on.

I'm not sure honestly. It gave me the same normal reply when it added:

And when I pull the overlay file to add it in manually it looks the same, but I have literally no idea how any of that works on the backend haha.
