thanks! :) So I added the CWs from my wishlist (because it's much easier to add all of them in one shot) and it didn't add their overlays at all. The rest was added - THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS! it shortened my time by more than half, took me 4 minutes! :D
Now I was thinking about the currency type and in case the overlays are not suppose to work at the moment, that the problem is that they are in a drop down box but not as a check box like the item type.. so if it's this case, maybe just for a test you can change the layer and the currency to a check box? what do you think? but maybe I'm wrong so tell me please.. :)
The problem with the overlays is that Subeta doesn't give out the overlay information to a non-logged-in user. (Try visiting this page while logged in, and then again while logged out, and you can see the difference.)
That means that the mass-add script can't "see" the overlay information that we can. The only way I know to fix that is to find a page that has overlay information on it that a non-logged-in user can access, or to figure out a way to trick Subeta into giving out the overlay information to the mass-add script even though it's not a real user. (I think this is a problem that will be very difficult.)
ok I understand now, maybe the mass add script can be associated with an account existing or new? is it even possible to do? (we need to ask Subeta for permission of course..)
but the cron can be run for the overlays so not that huge a deal. it never did work that way, not that it wouldn't be nice if it did but still...
One thing that might make it a bit more convenient would be if the system sees it is a certain rarity range it could automagically add a link to the edit page for the cron with the name filled n. Might be too much effort to try and figure out though.
OR, O, go back to when the cron added all that info? maybe?
Nope. Not asking for special favors to make a new account.
I haven't even started looking at the cron code, but I think we'll run into the same problem: how do we get Subeta to show the overlay information to the cron script, when it shows it only to logged-in users?
pretty sure Jon had it logged into his account. We could use mine since I seem to be sticking around. :p
: Found the cron -- it used an older version of the wardrobe (not sure which one), but may be adaptable.
That would have been the one right before the latest ddos attack so not too old of a version but if someone is to be believed everything is totally different in the new version
I can't wait to add items and check this out, it's been awhile since the mass add has been easy-peasy
While you're at it, care to help with a final assignment for beginners in Java?
Im so out of practice I don't know where to start lol! Do they even use this anymore?
Our Lair is proof you don't have to stand face to face to know you've got friends who stand with you when you need us.
Mni wiconi -- water is life
I can try -- but let's do this in a separate thread. Do you have a strategy for writing this program?
, , - Do any of you think that there's a possibility of the account avatar page getting fixed? Click me
We had a user ask about it in our bugs board and I had forgotten it was broken. It would be lovely if it worked again :)
I agree it would be nice to have that working again but I do think there are higher priorities at the moment. Of course, it may be a quick fix that would not be a big deal!
: Check out the avatars on Subetalodge. I've got it working for me -- make sure it's working for you as well.
- It's not working for me in Google Chrome or Firefox :(
[edit]
Make that Safari as well. The avatar that displays for me when I make a news post is ancient... Like 5-6 years old.
: Does this page bring up a new avatar for you?
No, when I visit that page, this is what I see:

If it's at all connected, my checklist page also looks like this, with no images whatsoever. It's like this both on my computer and my husband's in every single browser we use.
