- Would it be possible to refine our search function a little bit more? For example, I was just searching "car" for one of my pet's treasure chest. I got 91 pages of items to go through. I wish there was a way to narrow it down so that I could get a result for just "car" and not include "carni", "cardigan", "carrot", and "scarab" for example.

I have always been told that excluding results from searches (with our set up anyway?) was not possible but may know a way.

I've got some partial success on this: If you know the exact name of the item, you can search for that item without getting partial matches by putting a * at the beginning of the search string.

For example, searching for "orange" gets you every item that has the word orange anywhere in its name, but searching for "*orange" gets you the Orange (and no other items).

This doesn't completely address what you're wanting, but it's a step in the right direction.

In the search box on Subetalodge, you can now begin a search with "*" to search for an exact item name. For example, you can search for "*orange" to bring up the Orange (and no other item).

OR you can begin a search with "@" to search for an exact word. Searching for "" will bring up the Arid Car Plushie, but not 76 Card Games.

These only work when searching for item names; I haven't changed description or item notes searches.
