I agree. They are also not stocking many rare or super rare items like they used to. It makes it too boring and too difficult.

It is also going slower again. Starting to see some restock times around the 45-minute mark.

I know you like to rs like everyone else here does. have you been experiencing shop time issues too?

It's been almost 40 minutes since the minion market restocked. This is ridiculous. Are they trying to run people off??

Are the shops back to the long restocking times? I see between 30 - 50 minutes now when I enter a shop. That´s boring again. Please give us some quicker change of the items, I like to stalk and hunt some rare items down! :-)

Tried to restock this morning but gave up after an hour or so - man is that boring and pointless, I'm glad that I don't depend on it anymore but I feel sorry for everyone that does, must be such a dread. :x

I've given up trying. Quests and vending don't supply enough worthwhile items to justify getting another GA so I'll wait until I have another loyalty box in November.

There was like 300 plushies in that shop the other day. Really? Do we need to have 300 items in a shop? Why not limit that?

And considering the insane numbers of the items in stock, 300 different plushies turns easily into thousands of items. This doesn't entice people to restock.

The shops are so stuffed that the page loads take a long time, too. So even if you do catch a restock, you'll probably miss anything worthwhile because the page is loading forever. It is majorly crazy making.

In total agreement. Things were finally working smoothly earlier in the week. Restocks time was good and so was amount of stock. Now I can try for an hour and maybe hit 5 restocks but not get anything that good. Considering I have 10 basic shops open and rotate one tab between the others that is pretty sad. Hoping things can reset back to the better restock times and item amount soon.

I was restocking a lot over the last week and it seems the times have been extended again which really makes this a pointless endeavor. :c I really like RSing in my favorite shops and while rares and super rares don't give you as much anymore it still feels good to grab them. But I'm not going to wait an hour inbetween restocks. u_u That's just ridiculous and pointless.

I had noticed that things were seeming to just linger and hang in the air even when they are restocking a bit faster - I have odd hours but the less welcome changes to restocking are well.... rather less than welcome.

Somehow on this site the thing that I ended up gravitating towards most was restocking, so if that gets broken down to the point that there is no point I really don't know what I'll do or if I'll end up staying on as much. I'll keep logged in of course in case of plots and for my beloved pet projects, and my battle pet (my dream goal is to get him up to a high tier ... someday) But RSing is what I LIKE to do and I really hope it gets shown some love.

I'm going to take a look through the change log and the other comments here when I get back in a bit but I just wanted to take a minute to chime in with my thoughts and feelings and make a post that I can look towards to remember to come back to here in greater detail later.

I don't like the long restock times either, but I get the feeling that this time, at least, it's not on purpose. Let's give Keith a bit of time before we grab the torches and pitchforks, yeah?

that's why I wanted to be sure to mention my feelings on the current status - I like to always give the benefit of the coding doubt because yeah coding is terribly finicky!

This way if it's coding it's nothing for our little minds to have to worry about aside from waiting it out, and if it's intentional well at least I was able to hopefully convey the feelings of one RS'er who will be forever sad if restocking becomes a waste. All the sites I've ever been on have managed a very nice balance between restocking and the economy I just worry that way back when I remember that Keith didn't really like restocking in general and ever since I've been panicked that it'll be nerfed. I will do my best to trust the admin to keep the site in mind as they whirl us all around with these changes though.

If it's been going long and short and long again maybe something got set not to reset until a certain bit of parameters were met or something?

Whatever it is I will keep an eye on any future developments. I'll still attempt to restock while I wait though. That's just sortof what I do (it's relaxing even though that doesn't really make any sense when I say it out)

Nah, I totally get what you mean by saying restocking is relaxing. That's why I like it too.

I think something is broken again. When it was working, shops would clear somewhat regularly and times seemed to be pretty "set." Now shops are completely clogged with junk and restocks seem quite sporadic. Hopefully it gets fixed again soon. I was having fun while it was working. :(

I thought the long wait issue had been taken care of.
