lots of inactive mods =P the examples I stated were the only two forums I looked at. I was tempted to make a list and go through each, but I didn't feel that that was my place.

Basically, every few months a thread like this pops up. Everything kicks into gear for a while and some stuff gets fixed. What was the last thread that did this? I cant remember anymore.

It's frustrating because this should be an auto-regulated thing. Threads like this should not need to be made just so things get done. (Yes i know a lot of little things get done behind the scenes, but everytime a thread like this shows up, a bunch of major items gets improved with great efficiency)

Regardless, thanks Speiro for putting into words what, i assume, most of us here think, but can't put into words so eloquently.

Oh with all of this, can we count that previews and roll overs are currently gone from all trades again? We were all so glad when we got them and now they're gone again. /sigh

Now the Beta is not functioning - even though it was working fine a few hours ago.

Usually sorting "newest" on the beta gives me -roughly- the newest items at the bottom of the first page (so I scroll from the bottom up, opposed to what I did on the old wardrobe). It's still very innacurate, especially when trying to sort within layers, though.

But when we need threads locked on any area that doesn't have a mini assigned (and this is especially useful for CW shops, since having two active ones can give someone a warning), we're told to open a ticket and ask an UA! (!) However, this seems unnecessary extra work for an UA (paid time), especially when there could be a person assigned / there technically is one (free time).

Also - I hope you don't want to change out of that outfit anytime soon - Beta is borked completely again. Thank god the old wardrobe works!

It is absolutely amazing that staff didn't even realize so many of their own minimods were MIA. That's just crazy to me. How do you not keep up with the people who are working for you so much so that you don't notice they, well, aren't working for you anymore?

I find it interesting too. A few weeks ago I submitted a ticket about one mod, but I'm not sure if they realized this was a widespread issue. Hopefully new minis can be hired that stay active.

Trust me, I've futzed around with drawers and layers and searches to find the combination that works. There just doesn't seem to be a combination that works for me. That's why I mentioned it, because absolutely nothing makes it work.

I'm sorry - that is fairly crappy and hopefully we can get some fixes for the Beta Wardrobe soon to make it usable.

Sometimes in the middle of making an HA I have to move from one wardrobe to the other because one of them is missing a feature I need to finish it, lol. So getting the beta out of beta would be nice, if not strictly necessary.

Yeah - I've had to do the same. I'll make an entire HA and then realize that the background I want is full so I have to switch.

I'm so glad we can use the old wardrobe for the time being. ;O;

I joined a few years ago and in that time, the site has progressed. I remember event lag of epic proportions. I remember down time pages being more frequent. Subeta has improved. I would still like for the site to kick it up a bit from slug's pace to normal pace. Inactive (mini)mods is a pretty inexcusable thing. It's one thing to not be on for a few days, but for a couple of months? Um. No.

Still agree with all the well spoken users on this thread (Speiro, Andrea, Tobias and Seerow especially, because these users should be getting paid for how much great feedback they give and their great and organized suggestions), still think we will be getting nowhere without a major change in focus and approach.

These two wouldn't bother me that much, but they are minimods in the same forum, and it's a pretty popular one.
